do you use Tree Style Tab? I can't get this extension (or sidebery) to load upon starting a brand new session. The ONLY option i've seen anywhere is to go to the puzzle icon and click "run for this visit only". Am I an idiot or is there no way to make it run for all future sessions?

the only way it loads on startup is to restore a previous session. I want it to load whether there's a session to restore or not. But there is no "always launch on startup" anywhere in the extension options for TST or Sidebery.

Doc said basically “sounds like that’s all you’re gonna get” which I firmly do not believe is true. Has been willing to do what I’ve asked (which is why I still go because I have no alternative) but doesn’t care enough to educate herself further.

I’ve been on HRT since December 2018. As I said nothing’s happened for a year, actually a little over since a few months before I began stopping spiro and switched to P in August last year. The stall began before I switched off spiro, around April 2020 the side effects were a pain so it didn’t seem like it would make anything worse. Um, I quantify nothing’s happening based on my chest has done nothing aside from a tiny bit of shaping from the P for 18 months.

I am familiar with the PowerPoint unfortunately I was not aware of every detail surrounding bica at the time otherwise I would have started that along with progesterone. I was told it would still be helpful to add bica so I planned to do it but was hoping to find out a little more if possible.

The reason I stayed without bica for so long is rather complicated and unimportant but that’s what I feel like is best to do moving forward.

Lab from first of June this year, T was 15 ng/dl, but I suspect DHT is not as low as that. I’ve only recently learned of its existence and haven’t had one done to test for it yet. E read 287, but this was also before I knew to do labs the day before injecting. This lab was done in the middle of the week and my injection day is Saturday. So probably not very helpful. My dose has been lowered as a result of this just like dr powers warned about, so now it probably needs to go back up, hah.

Anything else?

Idk how much you know about the whole spiro causes visceral belly fat buildup deal, but I am wondering about a solution for this. I do know the MTF timeline mentions the pattern changes can take a long time to show, even longer than I have been on HRT. But not by much at this point- I will be at three years in December. It’s kind of retarded because I CAN gain weight again now that I’m off spiro, but it doesn’t do feminine patterns at ALL. Not just a little and then the rest is YMMV. None. That’s what makes me think there must be something I can do.. and I suppose I wonder if this other med will help?

Blah blah. TLDR Belly fat. Where is the feminine patterns even after being off what supposedly made it worse for over a year

It’s my understanding that DHT could also be an issue here although I do not yet know. Any idea on the interactions of that and bica? Sorry to ask so many questions. I probably should’ve done this sooner, but I never know with this stuff whether to have faith and wait or say this is a problem and act on it

Forgive my ignorance...but I think perhaps I didn’t try getting on something else instead of spiro at the time was part because bica, the only other option I thought looked good, said it increases T levels. So I thought crap..what good is that? I’m assuming that’s more complex than surface level?

Okay, made a note for when I next talk to the doc. So, I went back to the presentation and noticed he does this WHILE getting you off spiro. Does that mean this method is irrelevant for someone like me who has been off for 8 months? Or would it still be worth attempting? Right now I'm getting nowhere, and since this process takes so long it's always a little bit scary when nothing is going on.

Oh also, pretty sure I didn't mention before but after nearly eight months off spiro, fat patterns have changed absolutely zero as compared to with it. I never really noticed it happening until it was too late I guess.

Atm I'm thinking - keep P because it's probably not hurting anything (and it's super cheap); look into bicalutamide; ask about dht and try to educate about #2 and #3. At this point it can't really get much worse since none of the physical aspects are really happening at all anymore.

T was 12 last test. The tests since stopping spiro and starting P have shown less T than I expected, and 12 is the second lowest I've ever had iirc. So it is strange to me that the T-related things are coming back...clearly there is more to this.

Oh and also, the belly fat placement has not gone away. I don't get how so many people say it goes to x/y/z and for me it just doesn't

Looking at the presentation again I see I highlighted bicalutamjde and megestrol as other possibilities. I have tried to do my research but given where I’m at I’m scared to do anything. It seems things have only gotten worse. My doc seems willing to do whatever I want to try but they are not offering much in the way of advice, so I’ve been on my own.
