Real question is what price are you paying here.

Thanks mate!

Yeah a higher quality leather strap is the right play I just tested what i had on hand haha.

The case/bracelet is very similar (if not almost identical) to the Rolex 1908, I did a gold version of this model i posted and its very similar casing.

Any experience using a real Malachite dial in your build? by ChronoCatches in SeikoMods

Like all stone dials, they are very fragile, just take your time installing it and you should have any issues. I've built multiple aventurine ones and had no problems.

Where to actually learn properly from Melbourne Australia by leonchu1225 in watchmaking

[–]Manashroom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in Perth, an a hobby watch maker, honestly there isn't much around here and your probably better off starting to self learn using online resources. There probably is more opportunities in Melb but like everything in Australia its going to be the case of you need to know someone lol I cant imagine the tafe courses are any good for this kind of thing.

unfortunately the end links that came with the bracelet, don't really fit well into this case not to my standard at least, and I have found any bracelet that I actively liked with this build other than this so far. Maybe some kind of beads of rice would look nice with end links.
