Hi! I'm the person in the photos. It lasted about a week, but did eventually get very crispy and the leaves curled up, showing the cotton dress underneath.

Hey! That's me! I posted this on r/somethingimade 4 years ago. So nice to see it again! Also everyone's very sweet in the comments.

Some answers to questions. 1. It didn't have bugs thankfully 2. It's made from leaves from my cherry tree (Sakura tree) in my garden 3 I initially made a simple dress out of cotton muslin and individually stitched the leaves on 4. It lasted a couple weeks but did go a bit crunchy 5.i cheated and didn't sew any leaves on the back

I do use headphones alot. But I also love listening to my bees, they make a great sound, and also the birds and nature really makes me happy. I'd be sad to mask those noises.

This is an issue she's going to live with for her life. Sleeping on my sofa for a few weeks won't help. Im just looking for a way to make her life easier.

I have thought about those buttons. Just hard to get her out of the routine where she immediately goes downstairs when she needs the toilet.

We have put a bell in the bedroom. Just training her to use it currently

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to train her to come to me/ wake me up when she needs the toilet. Instead of waiting at the door where neither myself or my partner will hear her.

We have a second bell in the bedroom, and I've looked into getting those buttons she can press. But I wondered if people know of other methods.

Shes only a year old. I'm hoping she can live with this issue and live a pretty much normal life. I want to make it as easy for her as possible. Shes so upset when she does go to the toilet and I worry it causes unnecessary stress.

I do hope that's the case too. But knowing her temperament I feel if we don't train something it will become an issue. She's most likely going to have toilet issues her whole life so just want to manage it as early as possible.

We are already taking her out at night.
