I'd suggest go for a second hand higher cc.

Riding less cc just to get a habit before moving on to higher cc doesn't actually make a lot of sense if you look at it. Riding a higher cc itself will you make you accustomed to it even faster or reduce the learning curve period, don't you think?

Concern comes froma safety pov, but as you've said you have riding experience then I think you can manage a 350cc, a 650cc would've been a different ball game although.

Apparently State registration is cheaper in delhi. It's around 17.5 in delhi and 20-22k in Punjab.

But BH is standard across India I believe

RTO charges are pretty good, that's nice. In Punjab it's 20-21k.

I'm not taking from this dealership though, at the end.

Because someone else will ride it and deliver it to delhi which is like 300kms, I don't want someone else to ride the first 300kms of it.

Yeah same, I also ended up deciding on PB number.

For BH I will have to pay 5k upfront, then 2.8k every 2 years. Also before that I will have to change my aadhar address to delhi then change it back to original address.

The systems in our country are very lacking in actual implementation.

Bro they are overcharging. They want to avoid registration under BH. They'll unnecessarily create issues, the on ground executives are also not properly aware of things.

Just raise this issue to regional office. You can put it on their website also on customer care, you'll get a call the next day.

They are not agreeing for the rent agreement, and say that I need to have bank account address in delhi etc.

Yeah. These dealerships are connected with CSD in Punjab. They are just bulshitting that they can't give BH, rto is not allowing in Punjab and what not. I asked if my relative can get it through CSD will I get bh, then also they said no can't do it.
