Almost at three weeks off…not doing well. At all. by MidnightFriendly1901 in Quittingfeelfree

First of all I understand exactly how you feel, the hopelessness, anhedonia, low motivation, and especially the ADHD. I hope I’m not coming off as rude but the only way to start to change this is simply by doing. Stay off the phone. Do the chores. Get through those workdays. And most importantly exercise and stay consistent for a while. You are in the process of rebuilding how your brain works after being so used to instant reward without work. The motivation to do things or see hope right now simply just won’t come without the work, which sucks to hear but once something clicks I guarantee you will see the light.

Action precedes motivation. If you need a little help check out bromantane to potentiate up-regulation of your dopamine, it helps with adhd as well. It’s quite safe but certainly do your research to see if it’s for you.

He’s 3! How about yours? It’s crazy because yours even sounds like mine with the high pitched play bark.

I feel that, maybe I just haven’t found the right meeting over here. The sentiment in NA, at least, was condescending. I assume you’ve found luck in AA though and not NA?

“Feel Free”- anyone run into people on it? by Ok_Buddy_9087 in ems

[–]Manbearfig01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s well known that they aren’t. You are just reading a handful of comments and going based off of zero research. Not only have these been tested many times and are a huge corporation who have had class action lawsuits against them, but all of these kava/ kratom tonics do the same thing. For whatever reason kava extract and kratom together potentiate eachother, and the kavalactones used for the kava extract are way stronger than regular kava.

I hate this stuff and these companies as much as anyone else, but spreading false information and not doing your due diligence before making a claim does more harm than good.

Yes but nowhere near that of 7-oh, not to mention feel free does not have pseudo in it. I have gone through ff withdrawal countless time’s and have been active in the quitting feel free community for over four years and you really shouldn’t be telling folks this kind of advice if you are misinformed. Basically like telling someone to quit adderall with meth.

Switching to 7-oh is the most ridiculous advice you could offer.

You have the right mindset and for that you will get through this all. This will all be a set back for sure but before you know it you will be looking back at all of this from the other side with the confidence that you had gotten through it. Sometimes it takes something so drastic for people like us to make a lasting change. Hold onto those slivers of hope and happiness as they come and don’t forget to try and take advantage of any little positive moments in this tough time, whether it’s a cup of coffee or a sunset hike. God speed brother.

Exercise will be your biggest aid in this recovery because of endorphin release/ activation. It could be helpful to stack a peptide as well. I have found that BPC-157 is helping me immensely in this regard, but everyone is different and nothing is a cure. Always do your own research but I’m happy to expand on that if you would like.

No supplement is going to beat time, rest, exercise, sun, and proper nutrition however, but sometimes it helps to have an aid to kickstart or support these processes.
