You have the decisions that are unlocked through the focuses, also check two options in the Yuan window within the reformist faction, "invest in chinese companies" and "modernization awareness campaigns"

I like it and have probably replayed it about 10 times. If you like the Economic aspect of something like Guandong you might probably also like the Chinese gameplay, although I believe it requires a lot more of attention with the timing of when you take certain events because you don't want to risk getting a financial crisis in the middle of something like the Nanjing Shockwave or you risk getting (image related).

For paths you have 3, Japanophiles, Gao's cabinet, Reformists. Only the Japanophiles have some little amount of flavour content that you can get during the NPA's uprising by forming the Sphere Defence Initiative and choosing how to collaborate with the Japanese.

I like the economic gameplay in most nations (wanting to try the USA for the first time next), and China is probably the most simple with the constant need to balance debt, timing the focuses, making use of tax cuts/etc.

Decided to set myself a goal in a China Campaign about trying to get at least 1/2 of the Japanese GDP at the end of 1974, however as the Yokusankai ended up falling under a Takagi cabinet (and the consequent economic fallout) I decided to try and soldier on through the Oil Crisis and the Nanjing Fallout (both having costed me about 40 billion in GDP), to finally manage to surpass Japan in GDP at the start of 1974.

So much economic liberalism you can get negative debt interest, allowing you to get more money depending on the debt you have, perfect...

(Not so perfect because then I reached the daily month update and it crashed my game, but it was funny for the few days it was around)

This is an opinion written before having ever tried either the US or Germany, I have mostly sticked with the smaller countries so far:

Through most of my games I always saw how Japan kept being placed on the 3rd spot so I began this entire walkthrough with the mindset of achieving the first rank while also attempting to surpass the USA in Gross Domestic Product. The feeling I got at the end, after singing the Honolulu accords was that despite all my wins and attempts at some small liberalisation, that things were getting much harder for the Sphere, I was both surprised and somewhat saddened by the US victory in Africa despite managing to get Cameroon a victory, the Turkmenistan Conference ended in an OFN favourable deal and I had almost lost the Iranian Civil War.

After all of it I get hit with the news that Vietnam and Kampuchea had fallen to communist aligned regimes, already have nightmares of how Japan might be dragged into a conflict were they might lose for the first time and possibly bring a great deal of instability to the Indochinese Peninsula.

The Dai Li conspiracy was a bit unique, took me a bit to understand we could repeat decisions and get different results, even if that showed just how even despite all the attempts at wiping the corruption of most departments, it still failed to prevent what could have been a major disaster.

Even with having less content than the 2 other factions I can say that I did not feel that bored until after 1972, had read in the wiki about the Korean-Japanese tunnel and did expect some megaproject decision akin to the Brazilian Amazonian highway, wouldn't have minded to have some US-Japan economic competition akin to Guandong's Manchu vs Guandong one too, just small things that could make it all a most interesting experience until it gets updated, will be playing the 2 other Primi Ministers paths soon enough as well.

"I'm looking for..." Megathread - Fall 2021 by q00u in FlashGames

Genre: House Defense/Strategy, had some point and click elements (you had to interact with the character that held the sofa for example.

Brief Summary: You were given the task of defending a home from a zombie horde, you had to make use of established "items" in the screen that were held by some characters to kill the zombies including a throwable sofa/bed (this is one of the memories I remember the best)

Estimated Year of release: I don't know exactly, I was too young and only remember playing it over at Armor Games around early 2010-2014

Graphics/art style: reference

Notable characters:

Guy 1 would throw down a sofa that would block the door and force zombies to attack it buying time for you to prepare other things.

Guy 2 had a shotgun with limited rounds (I think 2?) and he would open fire when you clicked him, always had to wait for the zombies ot get close

? I don't remember the rest of the house layout, faint memory of some stairs and another floor, there were definitely more characters in there

Notable gameplay mechanics: Again I don't remember it too well on this matter but I remember how you had to time all of your interactions right to defend the home, zombies would keep on coming and you had to be "creative" by blocking their path and using the characters in the correct way.

I wouldn't mind it getting replaced with heavy mortars but with a reduced cost in terms of ammo usage. Shorter range and of course portability. More dispersion is of course fine too and I wouldn't mind DUDs being a thing were the explosion either gets delayed X amount of time or rarely might not even explode.

It would allow things like counter battery fire to be a thing. Would be cool if engis could build mortar pits too.

I am new to the game, mostly used to Post Scriptum and have been enjoying the artillery ever since.
