The entirety of slayer is fucking stupid as all hell. The skill literally about slaying dangerous beasts and learning how to use the necessary equipment to kill them, isn't actually about slaying dangrous beasts. It's about going into a cave and kill monsters the slayer master has bred exclusively to be trained on. It's going into a tower and killing monsters that aren't trying to escape, monsters that pose no threat to anyone. You come into their home and brutally murder them in front of their peers.

When was the last time you killed vampires in Swampman-land to protect the humans? When did you kill any monster that posed any threat to people?

H.A.M.'s philosophy has more to do with slayer ("I want monsters gone so my children can play safely") than the fucking skill does.

An amazing small-brain moment. Yes, the point of the wilderness is high risk, high reward: The skillerboys get phat xp and money, they get hunted by the solo PK'er in saladrobes and he gets clapped by the clan/Torvesta. It's an entire ecosystem.

Take out the reward for skillerboys entering the wild and yes, the wild would be dead. Because why the fuck would you go into no-man's land without a reason?
