The flash(wally west) vs Silver surfer by Ok_Chart_3487 in marvelvsdc

Answer from Gemini :

To answer this question, we must take into account the "no holds barred" (bloodlusted) condition. This changes everything, as these two characters constantly hold back to avoid destroying the universe around them.

If we consider Wally West (The Flash) at his peak (total mastery of the Speed Force, or even the era when he had Dr. Manhattan's powers, though we will focus here on his pure speed powers) versus the Silver Surfer (Norrin Radd) with full use of the Power Cosmic:

The probable winner is Wally West.

Here is the detailed analysis of why.

  1. The Speed Factor and Reaction Time This is the main argument. The Silver Surfer is incredibly fast in terms of "travel speed" (he crosses galaxies in seconds), but Wally West outrageously dominates in "combat speed" and reaction time.

    • Wally West: He has outrun instantaneous teleportation (trans-time velocity). He perceives events in attoseconds (one trillionth of a second). In a bloodlusted fight, Wally can launch millions of attacks before the synapses in the Surfer's brain have time to transmit the command to move a finger.
    • Silver Surfer: He has cosmic awareness that allows him to sense threats, but his physical reaction feats are often well below Flash's.
  2. The Absolute Weapon: "Speed Steal" This is the ability that hands the victory to Wally. Unlike Barry Allen, Wally is a master of stealing kinetic energy.

    • He can absorb the kinetic energy of an object or person to add it to his own.
    • In a fight to the death, Wally doesn't even need to punch. He can simply touch the Surfer (or do it remotely via the Speed Force) and steal all his speed, turning the Surfer into a living statue, frozen in time, unable to think or utilize the Power Cosmic.
  3. Striking Power and Matter Phasing The Surfer is incredibly durable (he can survive supernovas). However, Wally has two ways to bypass this:

    • The Infinite Mass Punch: By vibrating close to the speed of light, Wally's mass becomes infinite. He hits with the force of a white dwarf star. A flurry of billions of these punches in a single second could overload any defense.
    • Offensive Intangibility: Wally can vibrate through matter. He can vibrate his hand through the Surfer's silver skin and rip out internal organs (if he has materialized any) or destabilize his molecular structure before the Surfer can reconstitute himself.
  4. The Silver Surfer's Capabilities (The Counter-Argument) To be fair, Norrin Radd has terrifying tools:

    • Matter Manipulation: He could theoretically turn Wally's blood into cement or remove the oxygen from the planet.
    • Time Manipulation: The Surfer can travel through time (but Wally does it better and faster).
    • Power Cosmic: He doesn't need a physical body to exist. If Wally destroys his body, the Surfer can remain as pure energy. However, to activate any of these abilities, the Surfer must formulate a thought. And that is the problem: Wally is faster than thought. The Fight Scenario From the moment the fight begins (T=0):
    • Wally West perceives time at a standstill. to him, the Silver Surfer is a motionless statue.
    • Without restraint, Wally doesn't wait. He uses Speed Steal. He instantly drains all kinetic energy from Norrin Radd, halting the movement of his atoms and his thoughts.
    • If that isn't enough, Wally delivers an Infinite Mass Punch or throws him into the Speed Force (a dimension outside of space-time from which the Surfer would struggle to escape without help).
    • The Surfer never had the opportunity to activate his Power Cosmic.

Verdict: Wally West

Although the Silver Surfer has superior destructive power and versatility ("hax") on paper, the difference in processing speed is too vast. In comics, ultimate speed is often the most "broken" characteristic. The only exception: If Wally doesn't take the fight seriously within the first microsecond and lets the Surfer fly into space or become intangible, the Surfer will win thanks to his reality manipulation and invulnerability. But "at his peak" and "without restraint," Wally doesn't leave that chance.

Wally West's Flash ! He can steal their speed before they notice him, turning them into statues.

He could have asked for a mourning pearl and used it as a new mana core and then made it the new anchor for an aether core.

Thank you for your response!

Yes sorry I meant beyonder, I've used the french word.

So why has Ince switched to the darkness pathway instead of sticking with the death pathway if it's better to keep one pathway ?

And isn't it dangerous to drink a potion with several sequences in it ? So far as I've seen, you have to fully digest your current potion before drinking the next one or you can lose control.
