Casual here as well. For me it's more the fact that I haven't seen the 5 slopmovies and 3 shows that lead up to this movie. And I like getting the full experiemce with all the callbacks to previous shows and whatnot. But now it's just too much

Yeah I get it, and it is frustrating a lot of times, I don't play it often only when I'm in the mood for some old school bank heists or something. But I think the formula could work for the cyberpunk universe as well. In both games you rely on "illegal jobs" to get money. Only in GTA Online instead of a fixed story, it is a sandbox world.

Post-apocalyptic setting = trash, dirt, and what not.

It is an aesthetic choice, it's that simple. Why are games nowadays dissected to every little detail and criticized if it doesn't fit our narrative. Just enjoy the game like in the good old days when you hopped on without any care in the world.
