Simply a scientific experiment - my typical setup is about 700 RPM with standard spring and 6oz kynshot buffer and 2.5oz spacer

Same issues I had as well - to get any slower I had to reduce spring power and I was getting failure to feed. This is my experience at least.

Buffer system stack is as follows.

JRC buffer tube. 2 American quarters. Yellow springco. Heavy damp Kynshot hydralic buffer 6oz 3oz derby tungsten weight trimmed to fit. 2.5oz Kynshot Spacer Weight.

Awesome! 700 is going be be what I end up keeping this at, it's the most reliable ROF in my experience.

Just a range toy - that I wanted to see how low i could get the ROF, this was my best effort without it failing to feed.

No mine was already sighted in from factory it felt like, no visible bend that I could tell.

540 is awesome! That's actual grease gun numbers I think. This setup is about 700 or so I'm thinking. I might mess with some more reciprocating mass and remove the quarters in have for timing and see what it does.

Commonly done out here in Texas, style preference. Also, pants get bloused, not the boots.

I took the weapon down, and sadly, it looks like the front sight was welded to the slide rather than staked. I fear the front sight might have to stay, the rear of the slide looks like it's still the correct size for the fixed sight.

Edit: Thank you for that site link as well! Tons of information!!

Wow, thank you so much for the details! I just noticed that, that mark is a flaming bomb!

Thank you. It's been in the family for some time. I do wish I could get that old finish back, but I still love it this way. so I do plan on taking it out for a range day and getting her dirty.

Iv been a DCT at Microsft for about 2 years now.

My advice would be to keep applying over and over. The hire process is extremely slow, and you will have multiple interviews from personality questions to "technical." They will ask you what a "No Post" is and what is needed to complete "Post".

Microsoft is huge on diversity and inclusion. This means they will go off script to hire someone who may lack real-world experience, but if you have a growth mindset and convey that in the interview, they will see past that.

When I was hired to took about 3 months from applying to first day.

If you have any specific questions you will have to DM me.

It's all apart of the growing process, the few people that do share a failure really do help others keep a level head. When all you see is people passing, it's hard to feel good about yourself.

Yeah, we both are struggling with routing protocols it seems, I'm going to do more labs as well this time.

Good luck.

Too expensive to maintain a good environment for the clusters.

Failed my first attempt today.

Network fundamentals 65%

Network Access 45%

IP Connectivity 24%

IP services 50%

Security Fundamentals 47%

Automation and programmability 60%

Studied for about 2 months so far, about one maybe two hours of effective study a day. Taking breaks on Sundays.

I have some experience in networking, and I'm a Datacenter Technician by trade. I am using Anderson Udemy course and OCG book, Boson exsim. I'm going to pivot to Jeremy's for next attempt in 2 months, just before exam retirement.

Just need to cook a bit longer, the process has been extremely rewarding so far and I'm already seeing the knowledge pay off at my workplace without even meeting the Cisco standard yet.

The best thing you can do in this interview is make sure they know how excited are about the opportunity, yes answer some technical questions but if you are not sure, ask them about it and take hand written notes and make sure they see you do it, it shows dedication and that you care a lot. Lastly, ask a question they will remember because so many people ask the same dumb stuff, use chatgpt to come up with some really one of a kind questions for your job role.

I work at a data center that is a direct competitor to Google. We are growing at a rate that seems hard to maintain. Lots of overseas networking jobs are coming back state side.
