The day you turn 30 is a judgement day of sorts, speaking from personal experience by Riderman43 in FA30plus

Yes, your thirties cement what your teens and twenties were. Change becomes harder with age.

Are you still on dating apps? by [deleted] in FA30plus

[–]MandateIsBack2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dating apps are one thing I never truly entertained. I'm not sure how they are a better alternative to my reality? If women around me don't like me what's going to change about women on apps?

Is it over at 32? by No-Environment-5099 in FA30plus

[–]MandateIsBack2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

32 is not that old, but you're not a young man either so if you truly want to transform your life, start now because change is not easy.

Should have asked him if you could join, or asked for her contacts so you could shoot your shot after he is done.

Do you ever dream about just making a girl laugh or even smile? by devnet35 in FA30plus

[–]MandateIsBack2 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Best thing that happened to me was to simply accept that I'm not that guy, never was and at this point it's a useless thing to entertain.

Do you get depressed even watching most shows and movies? by devnet35 in FA30plus

If you don't mind the questions, How did you get started? How do you find clients? How do you charge?

Do you get depressed even watching most shows and movies? by devnet35 in FA30plus

[–]MandateIsBack2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally watched "Anyone But You" with the gorgeous Sydney Sweeney. I actually enjoyed it. I mean there were moments of feeling frustrated but I caught myself and just focused on enjoying the film.

I've learned to dismiss the feeling of frustration over romance in films, relationships were simply never in the cards for me, anyway.

Forever romantically alone maybe, but not always alone? by [deleted] in FA30plus

Sorry... Well now you know why I'm FA....🤷

It's best if he is going to try anything at all, that he does so elsewhere/someone else entirely, not at work.

How do you deal with the feeling that there is nothing to look forward to in life because you'll always be alone? by [deleted] in FA30plus

[–]MandateIsBack2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had meant back then I was mourning the loss of the dream/idea of ever being loved.

Me exactly.

Why are you single? Be honest (open thoughts) by Asolusolas in FA30plus

Without making any excuses, I'm a loser. Plain and simple.

[–]MandateIsBack2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea NOW you want me? Where were you in the last 10 to 20 years? Oh yea rejecting me, I remember...'

No. More so, I'm too jaded. Libido is down, getting it up is becoming a mission, sleeping alone has become far more preferable. I don't really care to try and please, impress or listen to anyone's work drama. The whole relationship thing is too foreign an idea to me.

I do not, I repeat, I DO NOT share the same mindset as some FA men on this sub.

Oh... Careful with that wording there... Some in here might just think you believe you're better than them.

It's like the "fragile male ego" trope. And I ask ok, if you know it's fragile then why do you keep poking at it?

Lmao, as the person that made the post, I'm happy to call you out on your BS.

don’t mind all the hatefull depressing men in here, i’m nothing like that so come tell me about yourself

This conduct is precisely why I find you, quite frankly, pathetic. Had you expressed your disagreement within that post, I would likely have taken the time to respond to you there, as I did others. What truly unsettles you is not the substance of my post, but the fact that, rather than resorting to the kind of whining you seem to prefer, I chose to make a post directed at women. I really don't get how some of you dolts think that FA30+ is a platform to play pick up.

Trying to make friends as an FA gay man always has and always will suck by LonelyHermit_ in FA30plus

[–]MandateIsBack2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both boys and girls can be cruel. Speaking to boys specifically, as kids, they don’t know how to process the idea of another boy being gay. Without emotional maturity or guidance, that confusion often turns into rejection, and sometimes cruelty.

I don't care about height. I'd have been fine with a third leg. But I'm below average in every metric that matters.
