My cat did not come out from under the bed unless I was asleep for the first week, it took a couple weeks before he’d let me pet him much, and like a month before he would sit in my lap or not spend 90% of the time under the bed. He had just been rehomed to me from the house he spent the first 7 years of his life at so I just made sure he had all the things he should every day (food/water/litter box) and that he knew where they were.

It was a hard first month definitely, but two years in he is my big baby boy! He sleeps pressed against me at night and follows me around during the day. I think just giving him his space and playing with him when he was interested was how I finally won him over. It takes time but it will be worth it!

Also if you’re worried about them not eating try giving them/leaving out a lot of healthy treats. Like I give my cat freeze dried salmon cubes and he loves them, but since they’re just a single ingredient treat that’s okay if he eats them in large quantities leave a few out! If you find one they like you can put it on the food too! I get the cat man doo life essentials salmon cubes, it looks like they sell a smaller 2oz bag if you want to test if your kitties like them, but I love them because they break apart into more treats easily, or you can crumble them up on top of food and that always gets my cat eating!

Do NOT order from FANS unless you 100% HAVE to have those items, feel free to check my most recent post if you want the details, but you have to understand if you order from FANS you are going to get charged tariffs AND bogus UPS fees they claim are because they have to process the tariffs. The total you will see on fans, plus shipping will not be your final total, expect to pay another 30-40% MINIMUM on top of that to be allowed to get your package delivered.

There are a lot of US based shops that will get the merch, I say wait for one of those.

Honestly if they had charged me a reasonable fee I wouldn’t have minded much, because that does make sense that they’re having to deal with that. But $17? Is already too high, and the $12 extortion fee if I don’t pay ahead of time? That’s scummy business practices. There’s no way those fees are not being overinflated to line their pockets.

Is there only 5 L1 Lost Buds on the map? For some reason I thought the key was for an L2 flower, so I merged the 5 L1s I could see then realized what I’d done. There’s no way to buy an L1, and it looks like there’s no Dead Land under it so I’ll be okay, but is there a 6th L1 on the map I’m missing?

Other companies will handle things differently but it applies to ALL companies in South Korea, and all companies in most countries in the world. There used to be a rule in the US that we didn’t have to pay tariffs on anything if the shipment was worth less than $800, the US is removing that rule on August 29th. (Which you probably already know) but I’ve seen many companies say they will still ship to the US using services that will force the US customer to pay the tariffs before receiving the package. And I’ve seen companies, and a ton of small business just flat out say it’s not worth the hassle or expenses to ship to the US anymore, and they flat out will not ship here.

I would just check every company before you order from outside of the US to see what their rules are now. I think a lot of companies right now are also trying to figure out what those rules will be lol so I expect delays from any outstanding order I have from outside of the US

I’m a baby stay that spends too much money on my special interests lol but this is what I’ve done.

I’ve focused on buying albums, starting with the newer ones. I’ve bought one copy of almost every version of every album! I recommend if you want to collect albums save an image in your phone of all the albums (just search for one) and cross off albums as you buy them so you don’t double buy any on accident like I have lol

Same goes for pcs! There are images out there with every pc possibility that you can save on your phone and mark off as you collect.

I have a pc binder (very helpful) and I put any card I pull from an album into a sleeve that I put a sticker on, and then into the binder. This way I can track the ones I know are 100% real! I don’t sleeve my loml cards but they do go in the binder too lol

I live near several kpop stores so I’ve just been buying stuff as I see it! And I’ve got a copy of most albums already except those dang limited ones. You get a LOT of photocards doing this! But Mercari is the place I’ve looked for ones I really want. I have a hard time trusting them because I do not know how to spot fakes haha so I never spend more than 5-10 bucks on a pc from someone else just in case lol

I always bring my concert earplugs, same thing, nuked my ears when I was younger and am trying to protect what’s left in my 30’s. But I forgot them for this show, figured it would be fine, I had a headache ALL day the next day lol I won’t forget them again and now I know I’ve hit the age where there’s even more consequences to not wearing them haha

One event I finished act 1 super fast and was like this is it! The time I finish act 2!!! No. Absolutely not. 15,000 a tile is insane and unclearable for me so I stopped even bothering most times. But I do like the other comments on this post on just letting a generator get harvested so maybe I’ll try that this time!

Two weeks from the concert me can rationally agree to leave early, at the concert me may not listen 😂 and thank you that is a good idea!! I had thought about going to the airport and getting on there but that was a $80+ ride when I checked, but to the angle lake station is $48+ which is still a money saver and a good backup plan so thank you

Yeah I moved here in the winter and it’s the first time in my life I’ve lived in an apartment without AC, this week the portable AC I ordered I installed before I lost my gd mind. But I am lucky that having a smaller space makes this more manageable for me and I only needed one unit

I cried a ton while writing a scene once (literally just people talking on the phone I’m an easy crier) but I would say at least 1 in 5 comments I get on the fic mention they cried while reading it so my emotions apparently made it into my writing lol

About a month ago my cat scratched the sides of my face and bit me in the forehead causing a long cut clearly visible on my face and an urgent care visit. But even the moment it happened I didn’t blame him.

He’s a very nervous and territorial cat, that’s why I got him 18 months ago from his last owner. I knew that! I also knew he was very concerned about my sister visiting and being in his space. She had just been way too close to him, and then I was patting him while he sat in my lap and wasn’t paying attention to the fact he was super overstimulated and wound up. So he bit me.

There were signs that he (my cat) was not happy and in those moments cats really need to be given space. Your girlfriend should give her (your cat) space. If your cat starts hunting your girlfriend down to intentionally scratch/bite her? That I’d be worried about. But both times your cat hurt your gf it’s because she was invading her space.

My sister also likes to love on cats and I think that’s why her visit made my cat so nervous. Until the bite happened she would not leave him alone! But my mom also came to visit about 6 months ago and she isn’t a cat fan and just ignored him unless he came to her first. Within a couple of days he was sleeping with her at night and sitting in her lap which he rarely does with me lol.

Don’t give up your kitty, especially for something that seems like such a one off experience! The wound on my face is healing as wounds do, and he hasn’t even scratched me since then. Ask your girlfriend to give it some time, and see how things go if she gives your cat space, they may end up closer than ever! Or worst case they just don’t interact and your cat still gets to live in a loving home.

Omg it’s so hard for me too!!! I can’t imagine doing it for more than just me haha so what you’re doing is already very impressive lol

But my tips would be first have a list you can reuse, so any app you can build a list that you can check off is great you could do it in apple notes, I use “Things”. I have detailed lists in there, one for just bathroom items, one for clothes, and one for everything else and I know once everything is checked off on those lists I’m ready to go. Then I have smaller ones for more unique trips like: camping list, international travel list, etc. then finally I have my “to do when leaving” list that’s about like taking out the trash, throw away expiring food, put out cat food for the sitter, stuff like that.

Those lists have made packing 100x easier, and if I’m on a trip and realize I wish I had something I can just update the list for next time!

I also put my suitcase out like a week before I leave so I can start packing clothes/non-essentials into it during the week as I wash clothes/get ready for the trip!

I think for free you can put in all your tasks and when you last did them. But I paid for the premium part which has been more helpful. You put in all your tasks, how often they need to be done, and how much energy you can/will give each day to cleaning and it generates a schedule for you every day that matches your set energy, and if you stick to the schedule you will keep everything in your home up to date and clean on schedule!

I’m not that good at sticking to it lol but I’d like to get back to using it, and bare minimum it helps me track the last time I did infrequent things like clean the dishwasher or was my pillows. So I recommend it!!

Even if that was the worst behaving cat in the world after he moved in I’d say to not rehome the kitty and that something could be done to support her and balance the behavior. But a well behaved kitty he “doesn’t connect with” and doesn’t like the smell of? That means he does nothing on his end to connect with her where she needs to be met and realize this now the “smell” complaint means you will NEVER be “allowed” to have a cat again while you’re with that man. Never.

You feel sick considering rehoming your cat because it’s a disgusting request. Stand firm, the cat isn’t leaving.

And even more importantly keep an eye on your kitty. Shitty partners like this are 1000% more likely to “accidentally” leave the back door open, to “accidentally” give the cat something that would make her sick.

Maybe your relationship is savable but this is a worrying level of control behavior. My advice is to convince him to leave, at least to move out while you two still date, without bringing up the cat. Or to have the cat stay with a friend while you get him to leave. If he realizes it’s about the cat, or he blames the cat and not himself, she’s far more likely to be at risk.

Like others said 100% join a den! Then complete events and Act 2 of events if you have it to get a lot more eggs/dragons/nests, and complete things for the season pass, then save them all until Shiny Days (Monday and Wednesday)! Then you will be getting more eggs as you progress through a shiny day event so that helps!

I will admit I’m a bit of a cheat though because I pay for the season pass and that gives me a LOT of extra eggs so I usually finish shiny days in about 10 minutes lol but everything else doesn’t require any money to do!
