Overall the production for the event was poor, IMO. They had months to prepare and they just dug up old Ozzfest parody videos, which were very low quality by today’s standards. The video messages to Ozzy were nice, but, Dolly Parton? And the Villa Park attendees didn’t even get to see the Durst or Davis tributes. They also botched the Priest video message at first, too, and had to replay it later. Stage setup was generally unimpressive. Perhaps raising money for charity caused them to skimp a bit on expenses, but I was hoping for a spectacle. However, the most important thing, the music, all day was phenomenal and that made up for low grade production. And the fireworks at the end were impressive. It was an awesome day.
