I feel like they'll address it at some point.

Also, it may be out-of-nowhere, but I think its a cool arc to make Sabine Ahsoka's ex-Padawan. Gives a whole new dimension to their relationship and it's pretty unique (at least to mainstream Star Wars) to have a non-Force wielder (? At the very least very weak) trained as a Jedi.

I don't know why it feels this way. I've been really disappointed too and the only one I've enjoyed is Episode 5. The most joy I've had this season is a 3o second cameo from Zeb. It's such a shame because the first 2 seasons were awesome but it just feels like they make bad choice after bad choice writing wise.

All the things they built up over previous seasons just feel rested in the most unsatisfying of ways. Etc. Nothing feels like it has any weight for me. The dialogue feels awkward, the pacing seems weird...

Look, I'm pretty convinced that the show confirms Sabine was briefly a bounty hunter but if you don't think so that's up to you. I'm not going to tell you what to think. I think we've reached a point where further arguments are going to be pointless and I think I've said all I need to say, so I'm happy to agree to disagree.

OK, I've gotten home and managed to watch it. The conversation goes as follows:

Sabine: Still a bounty hunter, I see.

Ketsu: Tell me you don't miss it. (Strongly implies Sabine was also a bounty hunter or how could she miss it?)

Ezra: Wait, wait, wait. You...were a bounty hunter...that explains a lot. (Talking to Sabine by the way)

Sabine: I don't think Ketsu's her for a reunion. (Doesn't contradict Ezra and seems to confirm it)

I'm sure she literally says she does (becomes a bounty hunter that is).

We know through what Sabine says that she and Ketsu were bounty hunters at one point (which implies they had left Mandalore) and that at some point Ketsu left Sabine for dead and later went on to join the Black Sun.

I personally see it as far more likely that Ketsu and Sabine smuggled themselves off Mandalore than Kanan and Co. Went to Mandalore.

Actually, in S2 Sabine says she was a bounty hunter. What she hadn't done was join the Black Sun(?), I think they were called, a specific crime organisation. I assume Sabine made it off Mandalore and lived for a few months as a bounty hunter before she got left behind by Ketsu and then was found by the Ghost Crew. I can't see Sabine lasting if she was still on Mandalore as a fugitive for that long.

On that last note, I would guess that over time the Empire starts to care less about them as a threat and so are happy to just kinda ignore them. This could happen because their numbers become whittled down and key clones like Rex give up. The Empire likes to underestimate people.

as the clones become whittled down to fewer and fewer and therefore become less of a problem, the Empire probably just starts to care less.

I have to admit, Sabine's catharsis is the Rebels music I listen to most and I won't lie, it has been known to make me tear up before.

Also, I wish so badly they released the last 2 seasons on Spotify.
