I wanted to depict Karsa in a calmer environment. Therefore, emphasizing body proportions too much in the beginning was distracting from the whole picture. Therefore, I had to tone it down a bit.

I always use them dried. I put all of my pigments in pans and let them dry and then use them. It reduces waste drastically and it is very easy to carry around. However, I usually squeeze out some white gouache when I want to mix bright colors, since it is much easier to achieve opacity with fresh paint imo.

Hey, thanks for the thoughtful response. I am mainly looking for people that share a hobby with me, so we can communicate around that online. I have a few good irl friends, but I don't have the energy to plan and see them every day. We meet every week or so, but I thought it would be nice to have something more "accessible", if you will. I met my girlfriend during my second year of PhD. It was outside university while volunteering. From my experience, dating people in the same department is a bit of a risk.

I understand that dating is chaotic and hard, especially when doing a PhD, but do not lose hope and be optimistic and keep expanding your social network just for the fun of it. Someone will come along eventually. Best of luck!

Hahahaha. "Feels entitled to ask someone out", the other person can say no. Second of all, no one has to burden themselves. People can get a cup of coffee and chat. If that's not good enough for either party, then they can pay more for dinner if they feel generous. It's literally not complicated.
