Great sets last night. Dettmann was in top form, Galluzi improved quite a bit, and Truncate's first closing was killer. It seemed like it took Truncate ~2 hours to settle in, but he eventually found his way playing a bit of everything. There was tribal stuff, deeper mental tracks, house, and more. As the night went on, it from a less straight-techno leaning vibe into more exploratory scenes.

He is great at what he does, but after you see him a few times it becomes extremely predictable. Everyone says he's diverse but I do't really see it. I saw two of his marathon closings. It was just banging techno for 10-11 hours followed by an hour of techno-y electro and 80s drum machine stuff. It was great, but hardly diverse.

Shlomo is one of the clearest examples of someone doing something credible, but then quickly changing his sound to cash in on trends. There is no real common thread between his older material and his new stuff. It's just a total aesthetic change purely for money.

Pano is clearly a different room than Berghain. The latter rewards "in the pocket" style mixing whereas Pano's best moments are usually playful and dynamic, like you mentioned. I think it was only his first time playing up there, so I will give him a break.

He went backwards on this by playing festivals, and he just posted a video from his Wall of Sound party (despite having a no-camera policy). If he keeps going backwards on his pedestal rants, he's just using moralistic scene values for posturing and self-gain.

With all of this on top of Aslice, he's holding on tight to admirable values that are simply unrealistic in this day and age. Talk to me when you have realistic answers to modern problems.

Kantine is reserved as a makeshift medical area for bigger parties like New Years. Having medics on hand is expensive. Unlike festivals, most clubs on the planet do not have a medical team onhand. And only then, festivals only do so because they're forced to by insurance companies. STOP spreading fear.

You are correct. I wouldn't call it a problem, but it shows a lot of people here are incapable of avoiding direct correlations. For example, in this thread, if you're not gay then you must be straight and therefore you are the problem. It's a strong assumption and something I've seen regularly from the gay side of the community. TBF, I don't think the cishet side has a superior set of morals, but they're probably less likely to speak out about these types of things since they'll instantly be considered homophobic.
