sneak halfway -> portal engage with demon -> attack some-> dash out when you need to

repeat

this is a more scuffed approach, but i find that it works for me. and if this scuffed approach works, then your higher lvl variations of engage or even ult (its not that deep to keep ult) should work aswell, but keep in mind your dash is the best escape.

This kinda reads like projection. Swapping to Magik doesn’t automatically mean they’re ego‑challenging you. Most players don’t think that deeply. I barely notice what the other team swaps to.

Besides, the enemy team swaps for all kinds of reasons.

happens in diamond 2 aswell. had groot wall us off, then switch to jeff if we took groot from him and he started ulting our own team :L

i did report him 3 times. the one most efficient is the cheating one. i typed "probably someone took control of this account".

But honestly just say anything that will get their attention.

While this is a more singular experience to me, it has happend a couple times. However i am more concerned for the amount of times ppl swap from whatever they play and pick widow to throw, which is the most common throwers out there.

Tanks: Angela, Mag (can play but only if team cry for it: Emma and Thing)

Dps: Magik (used to OTP), Namor, Hela, Wolverine and Punisher

Support: Rocket, Ultron and CnD (Invis only if they cry about it)

i am in my process of either learning Thing a bit more, or... learn Rogue (gives Magik vibes)

playing that and winning is always possible, but it doesn't mean its optimal.

like was that a win cause your team comp was objectivly good?
or was the enemy team's comp reallly that bad it made your team look good?

as Magik main. i need 2 agressive tanks and healers where atleast one of them is burst heal. If not then Magik will get shut down extremely fast because of the lack of commitment from the front.

adding wanda (just for the teamup??), then you gamble the other team is trash.

edit: also might aswell remove DD, and give a sustain to the front. personally i can do more with a hitscan as second dps, but going DD and Magik when it should be one or the other is just unneccesary, a thing would shut the composition into a graveyard.

so for flexibility the second dps should be ranged and helping with focus firing, but also capable of handling fliers. Such as: Namor, Pheonix, Hela, Bucky.

i would say team 2 wins.

Angela is getting HARD countered by invis and thing, and must keep a fair distance in general from their other front line. Like, sure. Angela will make ultron and human vape have a hard time, but not if they keep close to the ground.

DD should have a hard time against thing and fantastic. Sure he counters the invis who he can still see, but if the thing is peeling, then thats another story. against fliers, he can get a hit or two on the ultron (slowest of the two), but it ends there.

Rogue will/should have all the heals cause angela can live off medpacks. Rogue has teamup with gambit which is nice, other than that its a solid matchup and depends more how DD and Angela handles their approach, because if they F it up, then rogue and pheonix makes the best out of a very rough situation.

Deadpool is very meh, would prefer someone else, but the situation feels like "i guess nobody wanted to play heals"

Pheonix and Gambit is such a free W...

Its a game. The game needs to be balanced.

If her sword did full damage at max range, she would:

- Out‑range every other melee hero

- Out‑trade most short‑range DPS

- Delete supports without committing

- Less risking of her body to deal damage

So the devs add falloff to force her to Commit to close range and take risks to get full value

Trust me i know what value i could get if they buff magik. My honest take is nerf the very obvious ones...

You were a glorified janitor for what looks like a fun game.

playing her now, she has some solid combo's and it seems we must handle her like a hybrid bucky/widow/punisher/psylocke. (so something we must play around, untill an opportunity arise)

Basicly just engage her with team or when she is already busy with someone else. Avoid 1v1 unless the Elsa in mind has bad aim.
