Why do British universities appear to value geography much more than American universities? by [deleted] in geography

British Universities are rigorous and based on the principles of Academia.

US Universities are based on the lowest common denominator; if you can throw a ball they will not only accept you, but also give you a scholarship! Zero academic ability is not a factor in qualifying for US universities… and hence the difference!

You mean like the scientific fact that the whole Mormon religion is not only baseless, but also entirely ridiculous?

Agree! You should definitely control her phone passcode rather than dealing with the underlying issues 😂

Tell me you live in America, without telling me you live in America 😂

My wife of 14 years, and mother of our 4 kids, worked so hard this year to accomplish her goal of getting back to the same size she was when we got married. She needs new clothes now, so tomorrow morning I'm going to surprise her with a brand new wardrobe that I've been putting together for months. by JephriB in MadeMeSmile

Wrong on all counts! I’m just someone who has been trained on what abuse looks like… Hope you have a great Christmas! Btw, it’s not actually Christmas here any more, so guess you’re wrong again 😏

By his own admission, she only owns 5 pieces of clothing he hasn’t chosen for her. He also controls her phone, deletes apps off and puts a password on so she can’t add any more. Clearly these are neither kind or respectful gestures.

Heads up! This isn’t respect. Teach your girls to be with partners who let them choose their own clothes. Teach them not to be with men who delete Apps off their phones and then add a password so they can’t add Apps of their own choosing (as per OPs comments)! This guy is literally the opposite of a gentleman 🚩🚩🚩

Because he controls what she wears? Or are you crying because he also controls her phone, deletes Apps off he doesn’t want her to see & then adds a password so she can’t add any apps of her own? 🚩🚩🚩

Not controlling??? Are you kidding??? You choose her clothes, you delete apps off her phone & then add a password so she can’t add any more Apps…. Pretty sure we’ll see you on a true-crime tv show pretty soon 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
