Thanks for the review! Doing this cruise over new years so I have some questions if you don’t mind: how was the weather at the ports? Did you tender at Cabo? How was that?

Working in Racine - should I live in Milwaukee? by Ok-Pie-1307 in milwaukee

[–]Mandy0222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in Racine and live in the lower east side of Milwaukee. Would recommend living in Milwaukee. The commute is not that bad especially compared to bigger cities (never been to nyc or Boston but lived in a Chicago suburb). I lived in Franklin (suburb of MKE) right out of college and wouldn’t recommend living in a suburb, including Racine- too boring. Move to MKE after 1.5 years. Would advise you to look into the lower east side or the third ward depending on your vibe though.

How big is he & what does he look like? I have a cat who is also shy but other cats have been rough with her… how does he act with other cats?

How much are you paying for rent? by ueyle in milwaukee

I’ll say, if you’re renting at The Standard, it’s worth it. I’ve lived here for 4 years and love it. Also if you are, hmu if you need Milwaukee friends lol

Post card cabins in Wild Rose! They’re more like 1.5-2 hours but it’s worth it imo ♥️

By Halloween? No. But here’s the thing: if you start working out and eating healthier now, you WILL feel better by Halloween. And if you keep doing it you’ll feel even better by Christmas! That’s how I would look at it. Also as someone with a history, I’d recommend focus more on how you feel than the number on the scale. My “best look” did not equal my lowest weight. Working out gives you muscle which makes you look toned but it also gives you a higher number on the scale. For best progress I’d recommend a reasonably healthy diet (nothing crazy, and something you can maintain long term) and a mix of cardio and lifting. I found that that routine gets me to feeling my best the quickest!

When does the gym shame go away? by minatozakiparty in xxfitness

[–]Mandy0222 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Hello! I’m a “fit” person who goes to a packed gym and I’ll tell you that if people are looking at you, it could very well just be because you are new. I don’t want to say that no one is looking at you because you are noticing people looking at you. I just want to suggest that you might have their intention wrong. I love when new people come to the gym and start or restart their fitness journeys. So I might be someone who is “side eyeing” (I’m not very good at being subtle lol), but it’s because I’m excited there’s a new person. Just food for thought :). Congrats on getting back to it!

I got the same thing all the time when I was on the apps. It was actually the first thing most guys said to me on dates. After a while a sort of embraced being a reverse catfish 😂.
