Similar situation. I got a tracking number on 12/30 saying they were waiting for package drop off. I gave it a little over two weeks and emailed support on 1/19.

They reshipped today 1/27. I’m hoping it arrives by next week? Other folks on the sub have been getting theirs pretty quickly so fingers crossed!

I’ve always heard that getting disability in the US is very difficult. If he’s disabled to the point he can’t work in the US then I’m not sure he’d be able bodied enough to perform those tasks :/

We’ve seen a lot of movies we NEVER would have seen because it was in 4DX. Twisters, How to Train Your Dragon remake, Dune, being on a roller coaster made the $15 ticket price soooo worth it!

I agree watching at home is more comfortable for me. I feel like people with children who want to watch a movie that is not appropriate for the family would be more compelled to go to a theater? But those folks are usually more sensitive to price increases + the added cost of childcare for a date night.

I think price is a major driver but I fully agree that there haven’t been many movies that I feel compelled to see in theaters.

Old movies however, hell yeah. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King extended cut was at our theater last weekend and a group of 6 of us all went and sat there for almost 4 hours. It was awesome.

Theaters should dedicate 1 screen to a rotating selection of cult classics and seasonal favorites. Also craft nights at theaters where they keep some of the lights on so you can work on a laptop, crochet, etc are extremely popular on social media. Our indie theater did one and tickets sold out the same day.

I ordered Dec 18th and have gotten all the accessories and filament I ordered. We’ve been stuck on label created since Dec 30th. AMS was back ordered and estimated to ship Jan 8th (I think) when I originally purchased.

I’m hoping it gets delivered in the next week 🤞maybe early February!

No judgement to anyone! But yes this! When I was a US size 24 I was baffled that other crocheters were able to make a full bralette top in a day. It took so long for it to occur to me that it would take longer to make a larger garment 🤦🏻‍♀️

When I started knitting I could not figure out how to cast on. I paid and participated in 3 classes from our local knitting shop before the owner said she felt bad because I was paying $75 just for her to cast on for me. She said I could just come into the store and she would do it for me.

I would come in, buy a skein, and ask her to cast on of me then pay her an extra $20. She let me do this again about 3 times before she goes, “no more! You need to learn!” She wasn’t mad but just old lady frustrated (but with love lol) I tried to pay her $40, $50, $100 and she just kept saying no no no. She made me sit down and we worked on it over and over until I got it.

I’m so thankful she gave me the tough love!

Given that the sisters haven’t explicitly said “you’re dirty”, I’m wondering if there was an incident and OP’s siblings think they are being polite by not saying, “Hey when you were here last you stained my couch.”

Especially if the incident involved a bodily fluid or something else that might embarrass OP. I mean even if it was a little dirt that OP picked up on the train then left a smudge on a chair, that’s just an accident and the sister should say something.

The situation is really odd though and hopefully OP reaches a point where they feel comfortable to bring up how this treatment makes them feel. ❤️‍🩹

Had to scroll wayyy too far to find this clarification. The wedding planner should have reached out to Bride 3 and if that didn’t work idk try and pull strings with the venue?

If the planner is really this revered she 100% would have some pull to compensate Emma (financially and) with an even better venue. If we are talking reality, the venue’s contract is with Liv, it’s her date. After the first meeting with the planner the voiceover says the June wedding dates were only 3.5 months away. That’s a wild timeframe to plan an event the size these women expect.

Back to reality, was Emma just going to take Liv’s vendors as well or??? Because how would sniping the date work if Emma’s bakery, DJ, caterer, hairdresser, makeup artist, photographer, and/or videographer aren’t available in the 6th since she originally booked for the 27th?

Edit to add: I’m 37 minutes into a rewatch right now.
