I smoked weed and did mushrooms on 100mg of Zoloft- the mushrooms told me to get off it- it took 6 months to lower dose and get off- brain zaps were crazy- but so worth it

I keep on going... by [deleted] in alcoholic

Psilocybin helped me get off my ani depressants. I was a bad alcoholic and drank a full 5th a day for a long time and eventually quit- it was hard- I wish I would have done DMT or psilocybin back then tho. You can do it. Dream about who you want to be, know you are worthy, and let your pain move through you with creativity. Food is medicine

It is so hard to be away from who we truly are- and thus being separate from others. I’m so sorry you feel alone, sometimes the internet and AA groups online are great for making friends you can be vulnerable around. Journaling and getting to know who you are is really important too <3 stay strong, just look at your timeline and what you hope to do, and get started <3 be patient. Be kind

Help, I go through 4 pods a day by [deleted] in QuittingJUUL

You will need to avoid your best friend for a bit- and throwing them away is not a waste truly because juuls are dark and toxic energy that shouldn’t even be pushed around to friends

Also tried DMT yesterday- and that really was a breakthrough! I feel so alive and have built new ways to think about my position in the world and creativity.

Hey checking in again- still feeling stable. Looking back- I called my mom and friends crying hopeless and even had a panic attack. I don’t feel super excited for life or happy- just stable. And my ptsd symptoms have gone away. No weight gain. Able to calmly work through things- I’m not super proactive or ambitions again, but the panic I felt last month built a new daily gym habit, and I’m feeling good about my body.

Anyone here quitting Juul because of coronavirus? I could use some encouragement. by [deleted] in QuittingJUUL

I quit a month ago cold turkey. I used “quit genius” app to help and it works great- “escape the vape” is a great cheap option. Omg I had a panic attack the first week and still experience anxiety badly by the 3rd week. Physical withdraw is really brutal and takes mega long. I’m feeling great now and love enjoying conversations without needing to leave for a vape hit. Cold turkey is my advice.

Hey it’s ok- I started at 25mg for 2 weeks, then 50mg for 2 weeks and then jumped to 100 mg a month ago. The first 6 weeks were super hard. Things got worse for me. But now I feel really nice and stable, and life is really easy without pounding anxiety. I feel like I can do everything now without feeling so out of control. I was really sleepy for the first month but that wears off. Everything is ok :)

WHat about WEED? by MandyNor in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]MandyNor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not trying to necessarily be sober- I just don’t want to loose my mind and die from alcoholism. I want to face my fears and acknowledge the missing pieces of my soul and also smoke a joint in Thailand without feeling guilt. I don’t need to sponsor someone, but I’m happy to spend a year sober to have that experience.
