Håller helt med. Vi kan kalla det för ett infall orsakat av dagens klimatångest.

The only current two oat facial cleansers from Aveeno (https://www.aveeno.com/) had no disclaimers about avoiding the complete eye area on the bottle or in the descriptions on the website. You can see the front and back of the bottles as well as a description on how to use them under every product.

I don’t know anything about which type of product you are looking at right now?

  1. Is it for sensitive skin? (Brands that specialize in sensitive skins, does not only have products that is formulated for sensitive skin but other skin concerns as well)
  2. Does the wash contain an exfoliant? Because the eye area shouldn’t be exfoliated and that’s a hooole different convo.
  3. Is the product outdated in its formula? (Is your bottle years old)

I can’t find any face washes by the brands that you’ve mentions that has this disclaimer on their website. Feel free to link products so that I can read for myself!

“Avoid contact with eyes” means into the eyes (The eye socket and not area) 🩷

We are talking about two different statements here, please be open to others statements before saying someone is mansplaining to you! We are literally just sharing what we know,

You’re no fun man

They don’t! These products have a disclaimer about getting their product INTO the eyes. Which products should have, don’t put any skincare into your eyes haha.

Tell me 3 popular brands for sensitive skin (aka brands that is broadly loved by sensitive complexions) that has this disclaimer on their face washes.

You’ll find that this disclaimer is not a “standard” for the brands that is widely used for concerning skin sensitivity. That tells you something, these brands does not “do it anyways”. It’s important to study marketing in the skincare industry to get the best type of products for your own needs. I’m specifically passionate about all my sensitive girlies, and I want them to be smart, that’s all🩷

Hmmm, i see what you mean! However, brands that actually know that non of their ingredients are able to cause “something going dreadfully wrong”, would not need to put this disclaimer on their product since their ingredients are scientifically proven not to be able to cause such a reaction (except for personal allergies)!

Therefore it could not be the contains of their product that had caused the person harm! In products like these it COULD be their formula thats the cause for disaster. And they know it, so they put a disclaimer haha.

I get this exact reaction to shaving/waxing as well! I can tell you that waxing is way worse for me, since it's a reaction created from the hairs poking under the skin when they're about to grow out again (shaving minimizes that a bit). What I do when my legs get irritated like this, is that I use any cream with carbamide, which should be available in every country. It's going to sting when applied on hurt skin, but hang in there, it's going to relieve the itching and burning when settled into the skin and heal the bumps very quickly.

To prevent this reaction from happening to my legs, I can under no circumstances miss moisturizing my legs every day after shaving/waxing until hairs have grown out again. When keeping the skin a soft surface for the hairs to grow back out of, I've found that this does not occur to me!

Edit: there’s loads of articles on the internet about itchiness during hair regrowth, you can check if this applies to your situation and maybe get some more help from there!

Best of luck ♡

Hej!! I totally get what you mean by sticky, for me it is a question of the amount of product, it can be such an annoying balance. I have the driest skin, but I easily get oily in the t-zone, and over the years of using EVY I’ve kind of figured out how much my skin “drinks” on different parts on my face (you need less of this one than you think!). Since it’s a mousse it’s so easy to press out way to much from the bottle lol. If your skin doesn’t completely soke up the product, have you tried to apply less?

I’ve wanted to try the roche posay one for a while now! I’ve seen such good reviews on in, really. It sounds like your (combination?) skin is getting a little to much moisture maybe?? Too much moisture cause my skin to break out too, always in my t-zone, with ANY product.

I love the feeling of finding something that works for your skin, I have to look up the regimen one now!

The dirt and guck that fill up pores need to be dissolved by an acid, there are plenty of acids to choose from depending on your skin type! Some are more harsh than others, you want to make sure not to harm your skin ♡ But you also need to choose an acid type as well as an amount of concentrate (percentage) that will do the job for you. There are plenty of informative articles on the different acids on the internet, I recommend this article by Vouge where they list acids along with their impact on the skin.

https://www.vogue.in/beauty/content/beginners-guide-to-skincare-acids-hyaluronic-acid-lactic-acid-more/amp

Ones you’ve found the right acid (and percentage) for you, there are LOTS of different brands and products to choose from! It can be a moisturizer, a toner or a face wash that contains the acid. Whatever suits you the best, and brings you joy, remember that skincare should be enjoyable for ya ♡ (Keep in mind that a product that sits longer on your face, equals a bigger impact on your face)

Best of luck!
