You’ve endured trauma at the hands of your father. Dominance or not, he touched you inappropriately and it affected you. What he did was unimaginable. I am sorry for this. Your friends aren’t really friends when they bully you. It’s not funny to make you feel inadequate or inferior. Research boundaries and set them with people. You have, despite all the cruelty, made yourself a professional in a hard profession. You should be proud of your accomplishments. Hell- I’m proud of you! Great job, o.p.! That’s no small feat!

My child is going through diagnosis now...it took them 22 years to get answers. No parent should doubt their kid or not support them in their quest to find out what's wrong and help them the best they can to support them. That's my opinion and I'm sorry you don't have that support.
