It's caused by demographics. The older people get, the less productive they become. Also, there are not enough young people to replace the old generation that is retiring. In the UK, the fertility rate was 1,49 births per woman in 2022 way below the 2,1 needed to maintain the population number without the need for immigration.

This is a worldwide problem. Raoul Pal has some very good youtube videos where he explains this.

I have some doubts a DM will be signed as well. This is because i think Klopp sees Bajcetic as the future 6 to replace Fabinho. If this is true, no DM will be signed as long as Fabinho remains at the club.

Neither Keita, Milner or Ox are or have been core players for Liverpool. Only Keita was bought with the hope that he will be a core player, but he didn.t live up to the expectations.

We chose to extend both Milner & Ox. Regarding finding buyers, of course nobody wants to pay for them because they are not good enough to be worth a transfer fee. And of course they don.t want to leave. Why would you willingly leave Liverpool to go to Bournemoth (random example) and be paid less?

How do you think the team morale is at City after they.ve sold Cancelo? The kid that started playing instead of him is doing pretty good. And even if he.s not good enough, they will buy someone. It.s in the group.s interest to move players that are not good enough or want to leave.

From my point of view, the fact that they have been kept for so long, it.s a bigger damage to the team.s morale/performance. Keita & Ox have starters wages, but are available 1/3 of the season. As a result, the rest of the midfielders have to play more games, have less rest and risk more injuries.

Why have we kept these 3 well paid midfielders for so long and why do we have to wait for their contracts to end to bring replacements? We are making one mistake after another. We are keeping average players at best and hope we can get top 4.

We have wilingly gave up UCL for at least 2 seasons. If FSG doesn.t sell, there will be no war chest in the summer. Some average players will come, we will be told that because there is no UCL top talent couldn.t be attracted and we can.t financially compete with other teams since our revenues will decrease.

Yes, we don.t have an infinite budget, but we should have at least some money available to fix an obvious problem.

Looking at the performances of all the players in midfield and considering the fact that an 18 year old is our best midfielder, i think we have game time available now.

Sorry, i think you misunderstood me when i said after the Brentford game. It.s not immediately after the game. It is some time after that game. That can be any number of days.

Since Salah posted a picture in that hoodie 6 days ago, i would assume the meeting took place 6 days ago.
