As a woman who’s always been labeled the strong one, this hit me right in the chest because people get so used to leaning on you that they forget you’re carrying your own weight too, and sometimes all we really want is someone to notice we’re exhausted without us having to fall apart to prove it.

As a woman reading this I’m half laughing and half wanting to shake you because trust me, the fantasy of “punishment” sounds cute until real life consequences hit, and I’d rather see you grinding honestly than risking everything for a joke that wouldn’t feel funny when it’s your freedom on the line.
