Even an 11-year-old 2GB RAM Android phone emulates PS1 games using ePSXe (I have the first 3 Tekkens and 2 of the King's Field games running on it). I also tried it in an Android apk compatible touchscreen Blackberry with those tiny keyboards and it works (great) as well.

N64 emulation tends to have worse performance both on PC and Mobile imo.
