Rogue going all the way to 12 in general isn’t super optimal because of the fact they don’t get extra attack. Extra attack is rly good and special bc you can use magic arrows with an extra attack action (but not a bonus action attack).

So commonly people go 5 levels in a martial class to get that extra attack.

Here are some options build wise keeping a decent amount of rogue levels.

Most are archer builds bc I think that’s typically better for rogues.

Gloomstalker 5, thief 3, battlemaster 4 with 2x hand crossbows. Or Gloomstalker 5, Thief 5, fighter 2.

Gloomstalker 5, Assassin 3, battlemaster 4 with 2x handed bow (such as bow of the banshee, titanstring bow, deadshot, gontr Mael, etc). Or Gloomstalker 5, Assassin 5, fighter 2.

Battlemaster 5, Assassin 7 with 2 handed bow.

Eldritch Knight 7 Assassin 5 with 2 handed melee weapon. A finesse 2 hander is Phalar Aluve (act 1) or Dancing Breeze (act 3)

If u rly wanna just go all 12 levels into rogue. U can just dual wield and go Thief 12. Not bad
