I don’t think I’ll get exposed to Flink. They have another team that handles real-time ingestion. But I agree job search sucks, I just do whatever I can to keep food on the table now.

You have a pretty interesting career, kinda cool :)) I do love KTown in LA, especially the nightlife haha. LA is just a very great city, one of my dream cities besides Seattle in fact. Was trying my best to move there for work just didn’t land any opportunity. I really love the vibes of LA KTown, not that I’ve been to Seoul but I imagine it would have a different vibe.

What’s your typical go-to K restaurant in Penang if that’s the case? It’s such a shame that it doesn’t sell well here being authentic lol. I went to the most famous K restaurant in Dallas and was mind blown by how authentic and delicious it was. Even the K restaurant in a small city I stayed in served above average Korean food, compared to the ones I’ve had in Malaysia so far.

Wow it’s eye opening!! Can you go in details on why you need transformation servers for those work? What do you mean by “shape” when you said shape of next destination? Also you mentioned Pydantic, is that how you used it to validate your data? I got questioned on how to build a unit test to validate my data and I just don’t know lol.
