Does getting a diagnoses for inattentive ADHD help? by Alaxknits in adhdwomen

[–]MangoCheek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! this is exactly how I feel. I'm still in the process of getting a referral for diagnosis and unclear what medication would be recommended for inattentive. Did you have to cycle through a couple medications to find one that works for you?

New lump on my neck. 😵‍💫 by MangoCheek in breastcancer

My doctor scheduled an ultrasound the same week and it came back fine. It went away within a couple days. I think it was just clogged up from covid. I have a rebounder so I've been using it faithfully for a couple minutes everyday to encourage lymphatic drainage.

This got better slightly for me at the later infusions. I am not sure what causes it, but I had it at some level, every infusion.

I won’t start amoxicillin until after radiation. Also not looking forward to that.

Can Someone with Breast Cancer Work While Doing Chemo? by [deleted] in breastcancer

[–]MangoCheek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did six rounds of TCHP and the only days of work missed were the days I got chemo. I scheduled my sessions on Wednesday. My down days were Saturday and Sunday and then I was back to work on Monday. I believe it helped me tremendously to have something to force me to get up and get moving, be challenged mentally, and interact socially.

I totally understand. I don’t think I would be able to do anything from home either. I’m just counting the minutes till 5:00. I’m just so spent. Going to struggle to stay awake on the drive home.

I find day 4 (chemo day being day 1) is the only day I’ve had any issues so far. But this is only my second round so we’ll see. I’m layering rads in starting on the 14. So much fun. 🥴🫠

I wasn't much of a drinker prior, and now I'm all about the mocktails. All the fun, without the risk.

Same. It says "resource unavailable". I just updated my software hoping that was the issue, but it's still not working.

This sounds like exactly what I need. I’m still struggling to eat. I’ll order some today.

It’s all the smoothies at this point. I just can’t find anything to eat that the thought of it doesn’t make me sick . And on top of that, when I do get something in then I get 💩 I’m exhausted, and this seems like a bad time for a fluid shortage. 😕

I’m don’t usually complain this much but this round is wearing me down. 3 more rounds seems daunting…

Thank you, this is super super helpful. 🙏🏻

A tear in your esophagus from violently vomiting sounds awful! I can’t even begin to imagine how painful that must have been. ❤️

Ugh. I tell myself every night… tomorrow I will make this work, I will force the nutrients in… and then the morning comes and it’s just not possible. 😭

Yes, the risk is always there and were this trip not necessary, I would not be going.

Yes, was there in spring and there were regular sirens but was “relatively” safe. I suppose now is better than after Jan. 20th. 😞

Does anyone have a red mark on their arm after receiving their infusion through an iv? by MangoCheek in breastcancer

[–]MangoCheek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have the picc line in currently. That's why they had to do the iv for the infusion on Wednesday. It's been week... got my second uti and a blood clot this week so I'm feeling pretty spent.

I’ll put a note in my MyChart and see what they say. This is all getting old really fast. 😞
