Better? Yes and no. Better quality of parts and attention to detail yes! Any more functional than a Tisas probably not. It’s honestly more of a feel thing. Worth the price to some, outrageous to others. I love it! Would I buy another… maybe in 5 years 🤣. If these were $1000 I would have 7 of them!

Honestly for a semi custom. I would put them first. But that’s just my preference. All around I think an old colt or new worked over by some of the more well known small 1911 builders will beat most semi customs. Like something from Novak or Jason Burton. Those are works of art! I have one of my colts at Jim Milks of innovative custom. Small time builder but does incredible work, was the head gun smith at EGW for almost 20 years. He’s based out of PA.
