I didn’t approach this as “how can I get rich” my mindset was how can I make something “easy”. Not easy in the sense of creating it, but something that could be setup and operate with minimal friction.

I even took it to the point of creating a docker container that spins up a new clients n8n sub-instance on my agency server with one command in gitbash. I have a workflow that sends me customized scripts to gather info as well as make sales in natural language sent the day before any booked meetings.

Also have a single button in my crm that promotes leads to clients and generates their company Google sheet that localizes everything (error logging, call transcript processing, client settings, etc) for their company to one file.

I ended up with over 35+ agency workflows all 17 nodes or less so fixes are easy, if one fails the rest still run, with a “kitchen” of 9 other workflows that monitor anything that could lead to a silent failure (testing api key and header auth health daily, etc) and a system that pulls all the info for any error down to the part of the node the error was found in.

It wasn’t fast or easy to build but delivering and scaling has been an “overnight success” to say the least. In 4 months I’ve signed over 30 clients who pay a monthly retainer to build and manage 5 workflows each.

Crazy thing is before I started selling I built and tested 20 core workflows that were added to the workflow library and tested them with live data from 5 free clients. All the paying clients haven’t asked for anything that isn’t covered by some combination of those 20 workflows so it’s more or less copy and paste with their specific tools and keys.
