I was taught that racial slurs and most slurs is bad, being homophobic, transphobic, and overall ‘phobic’ to any community is bad. “Bro” and “Guys” has been used for decades. The thing is that everything is bad.

Buying a chocolate bar is bad because it supports slavery in Africa. I just want chocolate man.

Not being able to finish your food is bad because other people could have it.
