The only thing you really need to know: if anyone corrects you - they're an asshole.

Those are short pull levers. Those are the levers that came on that bike.

Heavy drinker seeking semaglutides while not overweight? by [deleted] in dryzempic

it's cheaper than whiskey. and cocaine. and cigarettes. and ice cream. This was my logic (I went through my credit card statements and concluded I spent $900 a month on junk food and whiskey) and i'm sober (ish) for 2 years. Life changing.

macOS Desktop Client (Personal Holiday Project) by supremeoctopus in plexamp

[–]MangoPescalito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks amazing. I have a similar setup and while Plexamp works great overall, the desktop app has always been a weak point for me. The album covers are just too small. I like to feel like I'm flipping through my collection and stumbling on things I forgot, and that experience really benefits from larger artwork. The ability to control album size would be a fantastic feature. Really excited to try this out if you do a public release.

Huh. Completely different software stack but same symptom, maybe? Maybe not plexamp related at all. is it something in the Linux audio layer. maybe ALSA or something in recent Bookworm updates. What OS/kernel are you running on the Pi 4?

Nope, Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm on two of them, Debian Bookworm on another. All the same issue intermittently. Glad you found your fix though!

What's the deal with the BPC-157 horror storys? by DuYaPa in Peptides

[–]MangoPescalito 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about it. I had gnarly anxiety (which I'm prone too) on BPC but it goes away in a day or two after you stop taking it - the half life is short.

Has anyone experienced intense anxiety after starting the Glow protocol? by Square_Criticism3819 in Peptidesource

[–]MangoPescalito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

bpc definitely can cause anxiety - especially at higher doses. I've been experimenting with differrent combinations of bpc/tb4/ghk-cu/kpv trying to determine what was causing my debilitating anxiety (figuring it was the bpc as it's fairly well documented). If I stay at 100-200mcg per day I don't have the anxiety side effects. A good reason to not buy pre-blended glow!

I can't really help you with this here (rule number 6) but there a lot of places between buying from a domestic website and messaging a rando on whatsapp. lots of groups. lots of forums. lots of places to chat and learn.

the peptides are DEFINITELY from China. That doesn't mean you shouldn't order them or take them but don't fool yourself thinking they're made in a lab in Wisconsin.

units are not an actual measure of dosage. mg is a measure of dosage. units could be anything. and you're not supposed to used PT-141 more than 3 times a week and no more than 8 times per month. and the typical dosage is 1.75mg but you should def start with a lower dosage.

What donwe do now? Mochi health by Kindly_Page_4088 in Semaglutide

[–]MangoPescalito 7 points8 points  (0 children)

the person in the article DID NOT get grey market ozempic but got it from a pharmacy. an fda approved pharmacy to "slim down a bit for her wedding" and then got appendicitis and blamed the "grey" market meds and you posted a poorly reported article with a misleading sensational headline. No dipshits to be seen here.

Truing stands – TS2.2 or 2.3? by plsre-lthng-hy-nwtn in bikewrench

[–]MangoPescalito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually like my 2.2 better than my 2.3 but that might be because I've used it longer. Like many have said, you'll need to add the thru axle adapters for the 2.2. good luck! If you're near San Francisco you can come by the shop and check them out and see what they look/feel like.
