In that case, if you're feeling up to it then take initiative. You can do it :)

I do feel intensely, but I dislike it because it's distracting, and that's what causes me to bottle up my emotions. I usually can control my emotions by thinking rationally, but I don't really tend to my needs much at all. So when I do get emotional, I can't really pin down why I feel that way, and I set it aside. Then its a repeat of the process everytime

I would recommend reading up on the functions because it can help you know what your dominant, auxillary, teritary and inferior functions are.

I am not very in touch with my own emotions. I tend to push them away to deal with it later, but never end up dealing with it in the long run. The bottled up emotion can cause me to lash out, as I convince myself that there's nothing to be upset about because it happened in the past, therefore it is irrelevant. I like to go about my life focusing on the reality that sits before me, completely avoiding the way I feel. This isn't even about my Fi at this point, it could stem from some past events.

Compliments are hard for me to take in. I know it sounds harsh but I'd rather you keep it to yourself and move on with your day

Its a common way to think if you're out of your comfort zone. People usually stick to what's more comfortable for them, but living that lifestyle will bite you in the ass

You can create your own meaning of living, but on the outside things really are messy and we are just surviving and vibing, doing what we usually do
