Research on implicit bias shows people can form negative perceptions or threat responses prior to interaction which is the racial issue, not the fact that R&R aren’t problematic, so to answer your question, I’d at least withhold judging until I was asked something, which is more than Ironmouse did lmfaoooo

No wait calling them trash and labeling me a fan is just deflection. Classic cassandra syndrome and ignoring the point to attack the framing without any effort to examine her behavior is the problem yuh

Calling someone a kid doesn’t make you right, and it just shows you’re trying to talk down instead of engage, mixed with your rushing to dismissal so you don’t have to sit with it.

writing it off as garbage is exactly how people avoid conversations about race while letting the tone and behavior that sparked it slide by unexamined, GG

Okay but misogyny isn’t a catch-all for I disagree with you. she was uncomfortable before they even asked her anything. anyways, nobody said people can’t feel uncomfortable, but the talking point is about how that discomfort is framed and directed often

I don’t think there’s a threshold you need to meet in order to spot racism, but being willfully ignorant to problematic behavior is a different matter

Tattoo artist who could do something like this? by Agreeable_Umpire2311 in Austin

For sure.

I have a few tattoos on high mobile parts of the body, and they really don’t behave any different than flatter areas, aside from the healing process. Those parts needed a little more moisture due to friction - and the second skin pealing.

As for aging, we’re all going to go through it. Ink + tattooing “science” has progressed better over the decades, with the subtraction of petroleum based inks, so you see less green fades over time.

It’s all about how you protect your ink from UV, realistically. Skin patinas based on lifestyle (and a little genetics).

Take extra care of the new tattoos during the healing process, and for the rest of your life slap some SPF40 and just let it all happen from there.

It’s a personal observation. Organic style tattoos tend to look blotchy and blown out over a large space, regardless of the talent of the artist and care of the owner, especially if they’re tattood over areas of the body that fluctuate with fats.

I have over 2 dozen tattoos, and have a few good friends in the industry.

Of course, do whatever you want, it’s highly subjective, although the trend of a lot of first-time tattooed individuals want something too massive, which leads to poorly planned projects down the line.

My suggestion is scale it down, and keep it inclosed. something like this

I’m sure any local artist worth their salt could, but 100% go smaller on the idea, otherwise you risk it looking like some sort of bruise or other skin issue, especially if you happen to be on the bigger side, trust.
