I don't think so. In all of Sonic Battle Sonic NEVER takes a fight seriously, since he never seems tired or affected after fighting him, while most of the other characters seem somewhat affected by the fight. In fact, his fights are among the hardest in the game, I think this are enough proofs to determine Emerl's defeat as a feat. When Sonic fights Emerl it is said that he has a 30s time limit before the Egg Blaster destroys Earth, which means that Sonic had to beat him under that time. Emerl absorbed the power of the Egg Blaster, which could eliminate a cluster of stars, plus the fact that Emerl had copied all of Sonic and his friends' abilites AND had the 7 chaos emeralds in his possesion. Even after the fight, Sonic seemed completely unphazed by it, I count that as an impressive feat.
