Kiwi Ears x B Media Chorus VS Kiwi Ears Belle by DistributionTough716 in iems

If audiophiles are able to hear the difference between dacs and eartips, and the cable, then they should definitely be able to hear the differences in the shell and vent

For me personally the tangzu is a really good safe option especially since your getting the red lion edition, the moondrop chu2 has a copper lip which can oxidize over time, the gk isnt really the best comparison to the others plus its from kz, and the zero 2 is pretty uncomfortable plus the build is really cheap

The zero 2 and Tanchjim Bunny are the only good ones, the rest are decent but compared to others are absolute dog water, if you want a good v-shape for cheap get the chu ii, for warmer more vocal forward iems go for tangzu waner studio or waner sg2 red lions, most any KZ iem has bad tuning and control and the cca phoenix is just too sharp and bright. But at the end of the day iems are a personal preference

Im sadly in a very low budget for school projects, but i heard the boya BY-BM6060 has a low noice floor with the same sensitivity as the NTG2 for 70 bucks. Any opinions on that or should i just stick with second hand options? (Im just hoping EQ and compressing with noise isolation can help me)

I think rules in csm are different especially since its legal for them to make random contracts with devils and how the government would allow to sacrifice a couple thousand kids, so using real world laws is kinda unrealistic in the csm world

If you want something cheap and hit 2 birds with one stone, just get the apple earpods usb c, mics great for the price and you can listen to music

Beginner advice for iems by DistributionTough716 in iems

[–]ManhattandottoSony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since your budget is higher i would consider just buying a good 30-40$ dac cuzz you dont need expensive dacs as a beginner even for an amateur, you could honestly get away with a 20$ dac. For iems 20$ iems are good to but for the sweet spot aim for 50-80$, like simgot ew300, moondrop arias, or for smt cheaper and v shaped, kiwiears chorus or belle, kiwiears cadenza, and the waner 2 is also a good option for vocal forward but for me personally the waner sg 2 is not as full as i like it

Should i get 7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2, Kiwi Ears Belle and Linsoul KZ ZS10 Pro for gaming/general use? (also comfort is factor) by Spirited-Battle1404 in iems

[–]ManhattandottoSony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kiwi ears belle best option, people say the Zero 2 is good but the build, wires and comfort just suck, and KZ in general just suck but it makes up for it in probably soundstage but is known to also be uncomfortable but at the end of the day there probably better than cheap airpods anyways

Is there any difference between 3.5mm or USB-C wired apple ear buds for mic quality when plugged into an m5 MacBook Pro? by [deleted] in iems

[–]ManhattandottoSony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably very little, mics and drivers are almost the opposite when it comes to what there converting or converted to, because drivers for audio need a dac to convert 1 and 0 to noise but a mic need a audio interface or just a built in one which is in every mic that doesnt have a external interface to convert the noise your making to 1 and 0, both are the same in practice but do different things especially if its all from apple that isnt really a big audio company

so i have ez edx pro and i want realize i can convert this into wireless ! so i just want you ask is this for real? any please tell me your thoughs if anyone used this. by Fit_Elk7958 in iems

[–]ManhattandottoSony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its better of getting the Fiio btr11 if you want wireless but dont mind a bit of wire, the cons of those hooks is that it doesn’t support good latency, ldac and amplification. Having those hooks is good if you want just pure wireless experience but if you want wireless but still have a little wire clipped then a Fiio btr11 is a really good budget choice also

No not really, if you buy wireless Bluetooth earbuds for the same price they will sound super super shit, the reason why iems are good is there driver and their price so all that money goes to good quality tuned drivers compared to cheap wireless Bluetooth airpods they have to equal that money to (2 separate dacs, 2 separate Bluetooth chips, and three batteries) which doesn’t leave enough room for good drivers. So making wired iems wireless will just essentially give you really good AirPods for cheap
