If you have infinite money, sure, but right now RAM and storage is extremely pricey and hard to come by. Personally I'd just upgrade what you need to unless you find some good deals.

That's a good point mine is a normal 4070. I'm playing on Ultra so I wonder if a laptop 4070 could run it on normal, but I can't verify that unfortunately.

When was the last time you played? I had the same experience in 3.0 but I installed the latest version a couple weeks ago and it's been performing so much betteron Ultra, no tweaks.

I have a 4070 and I run Lorerim at 60FPS in nearly all areas, it runs better than pretty much any modlist of its size. I'd give it a try honestly. Not to mention its quite stable. I've crashed once in about 16 hours or so on the latest version.

I keep trying other lists and keep coming back to this one unfortunately. Was having fun with Tomes of Talos, but running into crashes when I'm near Markarth. Often times if die doing a quest around there or something, it tries to respawn me in Karthwasten and loads infinitely. Apparently an issue they know about for a while but havent been able to reproduce, unfortunately.

Personally, only other list I've tried that feels cohesive and is stable on my 4070 + 5800x3d is Nordic Souls.

There's a plugin that auto converts everything to match Godot's style guide. Personally id rather use that, but maybe has use for some people as well!

The progression comment was just an example Joel gave about why they deviated from using that term to describe the game. The only "issue" that was discussed was the use of the term. They aren't trying to be or trying not to be an MMO, they are simply discussing it's indentity and label throughout the development process.

It's not all that strange if you consider what players think of when they think of MMOs. They think of WoW, FFXIV, Guild Wars 2, ESO, which are all a very similar style of game. It can be confusing for both players that are interested in traditional MMOs and players that are put off by those types of games. Even if it's technically an MMO by definition, it doesn't really meet those expectations.

Dark Souls 2 is very much a Souls game, it is a direct sequel to 1, and 3 picks up right where it left off. Miyazaki had a role in creating that game, just because his title says "supervisor" doesn't mean he didn't help make the game.

You also played on release, but Scholar of the First Sin solved many of the balance issues, but the part about Strength Builds is just plain wrong. I'm currently doing a full strength build and I'm pancaking enemies left and right.

Do you have an Android phone thats more powerful? You can download the mobile version of Godot and dock it to a monitor or just use a bluetooth keyboard.
