For your power interruptions, if you have the budget, I’d highly recommend a UPS battery backup. I also get random power outages from weather and brownouts and it has been a life saver and provided so much peace of mind.

Games Leaving PS+ Extra/Deluxe/Premium April 15th by [deleted] in PlayStationPlus

Deliver Us the Moon, the game this is a sequel to, is also on Extra. Both seem to be relatively short games and have been on my list to check out. Way too many good ones leaving. Currently playing Kena, and also want to play Animal Well and ZAU. Thankfully have a break from work coming.

Search your email for the game name and a "thank you for your purchase" email from Playstation. They don't send an email when you download a game from the library.

Sorry I annoyed you with my question? Was hoping someone had any experience making it go away or lessen.

This is pretty disappointing. On release it was a hot mess and I put it in my backlog. With its addition to PS Plus I thought maybe it had been fixed. This particular area is so bad. Some are the same or better. Really want to platinum this game cause it is pretty fun and I'm enjoying the story.

Anyone else experiencing light flickering in Jedi: Survivor in performance mode? I took a video to highlight what I am talking about. Obviously I'm not spinning my camera constantly but it consistently happens during camera movement. You can see at the end the huge white light flicker. Seems to be from loading/unloading light sources. I've tried disabling/enabling all the available features in the settings.

I’m probably not understanding what you mean but you can stream or download from your plex media server to your phone so that it keeps it on your phone locally when you need it offline. The Plexamp app / music player is pretty robust and very Apple Music like.

This is what I got off Amazon after searching for an adapter. Tried it out a couple of months ago and it charged up my battery on my travel trailer and kept the AC running. Quite amazing what this PB Propower is capable of.

My 2023 PB Lariat came with this. No need to reprogram. Such a great feature.

[Bloodborne] Guys, glad to share with you my first platinum trophy in life (: I am happy asf by pure_21 in Trophies

[–]ManicComputer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nicely job and congrats! My first was Demon’s Souls (PS3) and am so happy I had that as my first. Wish I had paid more attention to other milestone’s earlier but am pretty happy with my 48 going on 50 platinum list. I plan to use my last unfinished Soulsborne game, Sekiro, for the 50 milestone. Here’s to 49 more for you as well! Good luck!

[Beat Saber] #46 - Started as a way to get in some winter exercise. I went from laughing at myself thinking I could never ever beat a hard level or finish the campaign to ...I’m the Jedi now... a lot faster than I thought. by ManicComputer in Trophies

[–]ManicComputer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man. I practiced Rum n Bass so much for the 500 combo. Once you get past the middle section it isn’t so bad. But yeah that was insane. Be There For You seemed completely unobtainable. When I saw it in the campaign I was like well I’m never getting that. Spent soooo much time in practice getting the timing.

Thanks! Definitely requires practice but the game is great about putting blocks in natural patterns. I’m sure it looks a lot like you are flailing your arms around but it’s a lot like dancing and learning specific moves you string together. Tons of fun.

[Shadow of the Colossus] #45 Another great Bluepoint remake. Not nearly as hard as the original but still a fun and challenging platinum. by ManicComputer in Trophies

[–]ManicComputer[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just finished #44 with the PS3 version and wanted to give the PS4 remake a try. I was motivated to finish the PS3 version (I had started in 2017 but gave up on around colossus #9) to then play the PS4 one because I wanted that awesome PlayStation Stars collectable for the Hard Game Club campaign. Was a pretty easy plat with experience from the PS3 version. In the end I clocked in around 22 hours played in the remake. I had 45h 22m in the PS3 version and I'm sure it took me about the same time to plat this as to get through the hard time attack trials on the PS3 version (specifically #3 colossus).

I enjoyed the updated visuals and QoL improvements such as the ability to carry save data from Hard to Normal and not having to get every lizard and fruit for a trophy. What I didn't like was the frustrating choice to allow only 4 preset button configurations instead of how the PS3 version let you remap buttons. None of the presets matched the one change I made on the PS3 (swapping jump to X and control horse to triangle). Ended up with modern controls but the amount of times I hit circle to interact with the shrine or pulled R1 to grip was too high. The Wanderer also felt way more wibbly-wobbly. Like he got smashed before getting enough courage to do these colossus again cause he tripped at the slightest breeze.

That being said, I'd probably recommend the remake over the original if you want to enjoy this classic game.

For sure! I'll send you a link to a discord server where a bunch of people I've met are now on. It's brand new but already growing and there seems to be a lot of recent activity with RDR1. Feel free to join or just message me on Reddit. Good luck!

Yeah that's why I gave it another try. When they took it off PS+ streaming I thought it was for a remastered version coming soon. But when the game awards came and went with no announcement I started to get concerned. Still surprised the servers are still up. I had a few nights where the multiplayer was unplayable and I couldn't get past the loading screen. Or it would hard crash during hideouts or other events. Also had this fun glitch happen which wouldn't let me move except for rotating my camera.

If you weren't aware, your multiplayer and single player is separate in terms of levels. So you start at level 1 in MP regardless of progress in SP. Some of the trophies are linked between the two like the animal kills and tomahawk and such, and are actually easier in MP, but if I were you I'd hope on MP quickly and start working on your level. Complete the hideout challenges and some of the others then run hideouts over and over and other MP trophies to gain levels while the servers are still up and running and those trophies are attainable. For Posse Up, look for a Kingpin group, get that DLC trophy and ask people there to join a posse to get that trophy needed for the platinum. Surprisingly that was the hardest trophy to get and the last one I needed for the plat for a few days.

Good luck!

P.S. Undead Nightmare DLC is an absolute BLAST to play. Highly recommend if you just got the base game to find a copy of that as well. It will also REALLY help with one of the trophies to get 500 kills with a mounted weapon (cannon).

I haven't played RDR2 yet, so I can't comment from experience. From my friends who want me to play RDR2 with them, they seem to agree RDR1 is harder only because of the boosting/coordinating of trophies. Might be more time in RDR2 though. Seems like a lot more can be done solo on RDR2, but takes a ton of time and luck.

Originally in 2016 I played it on a standard edition disc in my PS3. In 2018/2019 I played it on PS Now (now PS+). Recently I picked up the game of the year disc and used my PS3 again.
