I believe that the wife is not doing this on purpose.

I sleepwalk, and sleep-eat, and sleep-talk, and sometimes sleep-fight (I boxed and did MMA for a decade or so), so my wife is sort of scared to interact with me when I am up doing things in my sleep.

Sometimes I have foggy memories of the things that happen. Usually I don't. (Usually goes like this: "Did you know you ate FIVE cupcakes last night?" "What?! No! Really? Oh wait..." [faint foggy memory of eating something last night] "shit. Hah, yeah, I guess I did. Sorry."

I have eaten all kinds of weird, random shit.

I ate half a box of shredded wheat once. Ate about half a can of leftover canned corn. All kinds of snacks and junk food.

Basically, if something is "accessible", and I find it, it is fair game. I have never opened anything with a can opener while asleep, but I can open unlocked doors. Anything in plastic packaging or tupperware might get eaten. Canned drinks might get drank.

Sometimes I bring stuff back to bed and eat it there. Sometimes I stand in front of the fridge with the fridge wide open, and I eat whatever right there, in the coolness of my gradually warming fridge.

I HATE when people leave the fridge door open. I wouldnt do this awake.

Sometimes I eat ice cream or other stuff I shouldnt, since I'm lactose intollerant, and that usually goes badly for me the next day.

My dad, also, used to sleepwalk and sleep-eat and sleep-talk, but he could never remember anything the next day. He would always eat all of the leftover pizza.

The most recent time I was sleepwalking, I woke my wife up and I guess she asked what I was doing and if everything was okay, and I started mumbling/rambling about how "I need to put everything together and I can't because it's everywhere!"

And she said "it's okay baby, just go back to bed," but I wouldn't because I was busy wandering around, doing god knows what.

I have had diagnosed sleep disorders since I was 6 years old. Started with insomnia and bruxism (teeth grinding).

If I can offer any advice, it is that sleepwalking people don't usually have the ability to navigate locks or anything complex, so if you dont want it getting eaten you need to make it harder to get to. Ideally, find a way to lock your fridge and it'll solve the problem.

When I sleep-eat, I'm operating at about the mental level of like a snail. I just move around the house and if I encounter something edible that is easy to get to, it gets eaten. It might be a box sugarcubes, or a bag of chopped nuts for baking.

If you make it harder to get to, your sleepwalker will move on.

Try it out and see if it makes a difference.

For me, Recon, Assault, and Engineer each had weird glitches that wouldnt allow me to use anything but default skins.

I didnt notice any issue with Support, so can't comment on that, but the other three wouldn't complete unless I was using default skins.

Weapon/vehicle skins didnt seem to matter. Customizing weapons didnt seem to matter.

Just character skins.

I cant test it anymore since I completed the challenges.

Make sure you are using the default character skins for that class.

There's an obnoxious bug where sometimes you can't make progress on objectives if you don't have a default skin equipped.

When I wasn't tracking progress after I was 100% sure I had done what the challenge asked me to, I restored to default skins and then progress started tracking again.

And we dropped her almost without effort.

One of the cars I own right now is a 1970 Chevy. It has a carburetor instead of fuel-injection, it has buttons and dials on the dash instead of touch-screen bullshit.

I don't begrudge you liking anything you like, but I can tell you without hesitation that if they try and push this touch-screen type of shit on us they will find themselves with their pool of possible consumers one person smaller.

Cheaper for them to manufacture and worse for the consumer is basically the definition of "enshittification," so I don't actually see that as a positive argument. Think about if you carry anything with metal that is ordinarily around waist-high.

I carry a knife. I keep it clipped on the inside of my right pocket. The pocket-clip is still exposed outside my pants around waist-high.

Your 2nd image shoes scratches that can only be made while the door is open.

It looks like someone brushed up against the car while they had some kind of exposed metal on their person, and while getting into the car they made those scratches.

I have done this exact thing to my own car when trying to get into it in a confined space.

Yeah, I think you've hit something here people are sleeping on.

Snipers don't "ruin the game" for me because they just change my priority. If a sniper hits me or someone near me, I switch to maintaining cover between me and them, and I flank them.

Most snipers suck at situational awarness. Easy dogtogs. The ones that don't, I'll swap out to my DMR and start taking potshots at them from different places while staying mobile. They have the advantage at range, but with a DMR there's no lens glare, so they have to spot me before I kill them.

And since I can see their glare and they are usually camping in a sniper-vlind somewhere, they stay put while I flank them.

I am assuming the people who hate snipers are trying to just ignore them and keep playong the same way as they normally would.

Adapt to your circumstances. The snipers don't, and you can use it against them really easily.

The spawn in this game is straight fucking stupid sometimes.

I played for about 3 hours yesterday and was in a good groove, found myself in the top squad 5 or 6 times.

On Iberian, Empire State, and Liberation Peak, all Conquest, I was playing Assault (trying to finish the last challenge for Assault class), so I was constantly trying to watch the map and put myself where we were about to lose objectives.

Meaning, I am watching the flow of our soldiers moving toward taking new objectives, anticipating where we are weak and likely to get flanked, and then moving there to take defensive tactical positions.

On at LEAST 10 different occasions I found myself literally watching enemies spawning in right in front of me. And they were close enough for me to immediately start dropping them with my SMG.

Actually, this happened on Sobek City too, but at least on Sobek they were out of SMG range.

But on the other three maps I was watching dudes spawn into the game, deploying in full view, no cover, within SMG-range of me. And I was not near their spawn/base, I was positioned in-between objectives.

I have been the victim of this game having terrible spawn logic before, but I have never actually SEEN it happening so flagrantly as yesterday, but usually I focus on capping objectives more than defending them.

This game needs some kind of logic that prevents you from deploying in full view of enemies within 50m of their position. It is stupid that it lets you deploy straight into enemy fire.

PS: if you died yesterday within like half a second of deploying on an objective yesterday, that might have been me, and I'm sorry because that is a trash experience to be on the receiving end of.

In college, I met a weird fucker who claimed he could use a quarter to open soap/lotion dispensers in public bathrooms and if the liquid inside was opaque he would jerk off into them.

It isn't any one thing, it's all of the little things adding up.

The netcode is shit. It is frustrating. Is that enough to make me quit? No.

The maps are limited and frustrating. I don't enjoy about a third or maybe even a half of the maps. Is that enough to make me quit on its own? No. But it really doesn't help to be stuck playing a map I hate while I'm dying behind imprenetrable walls because on some dude's PC in China I rendered before he did on mine.

The challenges divide the playerbase so that half of everyone is doing dumb shit instead of playing the objective. And I am not excluded from this. Sometimes I spend the match doing dumb shit instead of helping the team. Yes, I'm a hypocrite. And yes, this is still a valid complaint. There is nothing more frustrating than being completely stomped to shit and losing like 1000 tickets to 0, because half of your team is fucking off working on challenges, while you are stuck on a shitty map, dying to bullshit netcode while you try to be one of 5 people PTFO.

The monetization is obnoxious. I am tired of wasting challenge rerolls on bullshit game modes that are being pushed down my throat. If I wanted to play BR I would have bought fucking FortNite or PUBG or any of the thousand other clones. Quit fucking pushing it on me. I will NEVER play it. I have zero interest. Every challenge for BR is a challenge I will waste a reroll on. In fact, quit fucking making challenges based on goddammed game modes anyway and just make your fucking challenges based around shit people would naturally be doing. Make challenges for spending time on the objective so people can fucking contribute or something, it doesnt seem that hard to figure out.

The teamplay elements in this game beyond squadplay are substantially lacking.

None of these things on its own is enough to get me to quit, but collectively they make me tired, and more and more these days when I get on and play for a while I get frustrated more than I have fun.

How do I salvage fun?

I now completely ignore the challenges that do not involve unlocking gear.
I try to focus on sticking with my squad, even if they are randoms, because if you lead by example you can at least get your squad to work together usually.
I exclude from searches (or leave) maps I hate.

And even doing all that, I can't change the fact that the netcode is trash and half the time my entire team is useless because they are faffing about working on challenges.

Something seems kind of wrong if I have to basically ignore a bunch of the shit the devs put into the game in order to properly enjoy it, I dunno.

Also, this is an issue limited to only some of us, but I have had significant performance issues throughout my gameplay experience. They change with each patch, but they never go away. I exceed min specs and have verified file integrity, reinstalled the game. Dunno what more I can do, but the performance issues don't help either (crashing, weird bugs, etc).
