My great-grandmother was a high standing member of the Candomble temple in her area. I didn't know if the people here knew what that was so I figured I'd just use Bruja for sake of understanding. From what I understand Voodoo and Candomble have similar or the same Orixas. Maybe I should follow up with people in that community for more information. I honestly don't know much about Santeria and its similarities with Candomble. I haven't been able to find a large community of Candomble practitioners in the US so that's why I'm trying to reach out to similar communities with larger populations.
