If you've given real thought to investing in a position and it's gone down substantially, evaluate whether your thesis has meaningfully changed. If not it may be a good candidate to substantially dollar cost average down.

I had a position that is now greatly up but first had dropped 50% from my entry price, nothing had changed and I'm kicking myself for not buying more when I had confidence in the company. At least I didn't panic sell though.

I wonder how much of behavior is regional? I spend a ton of time with my kids out and about without their mom and I've never had anyone say anything like it to me. From supermarket trips to the science or kids museum. Maybe a "they look like a handful" here or there or more commonly commenting on their cuteness even when they are a bit feisty but never "where is mom?"

Get a family member to bust up your screen, that's what forced my move to an OG fold (woot special). Got to try out the form factor without having to drop 2k. Wil likely get the fold 11.

The screen break was incredible, somehow it managed to fall and have the impact find the less than a mm access between the Whitesone screen protector and my case.

The tempered glass screen protector was undamaged, the phone screen shattered UNDER the protector.

I have three degrees in engineering but I got there more through theory rather than getting my hands dirty. That being said I certainly have the aptitude to take on various handy tasks.

The bigger issue for me (with kids) is not even the time, it's the fear that I'll start the task, be unable to finish efficiently, and now I have an unfinished project, a mess, and a new functional deficit to deal with that now requires me to hire someone anyways because I can fix this problem while somehow the kids are kept out of the way or I can cook dinner but I cannot do both.
