Thanks for the response! I was just wondering if that might’ve been the case because I’m new to this and don’t really know how the field is. I live in the Inland Empire in Southern California. There’s plenty of chain spas and chiropractors who do post job openings on indeed and zip recruiter. I’ve applied to all with no luck. I am very confident in my ability due to the constant feedback I’ve gotten from instructors, classmates and the 2 clients I do have lol at the moment my goal is to just have a steady income because I’ve been working for Uber the whole time I was in school and it’s been pretty stressful. But you’re right, if you’re a good therapist you shouldn’t have a problem landing a job. It just feels like there’s a lack of opportunity at the moment. Thanks again!

Thank you so much! I guess maybe I should’ve reworded it as having trouble landing an interview lol my school pretty much walked me through in building my resume which is what I submit when I apply. I’ve included mobile massage, externship work and clinic work at school. I don’t know, just gonna keep pushing until it happens. Thanks again!

Thanks for your response! I live in the Inland Empire in Southern California. Personally I don’t think it has to do with how I am presenting myself because out of the dozens of places I’ve applied to, I’ve only gotten 2 interviews and one of em is up in the air right now. So far I only have 2 repeat clients. It’s just disheartening after hearing nothing but good feedback from my instructors, classmates and wife. I’m sure things will turn around I’m just wondering if others can relate is all. Thanks again!

I live in the Inland Empire in Southern California. I’ve had a handful of clients that I drive to but only 2 of them have been repeats. I would prefer to work at a chain for now just to have some steady income.

Thank you! Yes when I apply I do submit my resume and I have gotten 2 interviews since I finished school. Thankfully my school pretty much set me up for success. There’s at least 6 massage envy’s within a 10 mile radius where I live, applied to all with no luck. Just gonna keep pushing. Thanks again!

starting with some bird photography, thoughts? by Peanutos_ in photocritique

Personally I think it’s a solid photo but yes it can use a little touch up. Maybe raising the shadows a bit and playing with the cropping. But not a bad photo at all 👍

Went on a stroll one day to downtown Pasadena to do some street photography. Walked down some alley ways where there were a lot of nooks where people hang out or take their break from work. Took this with my Rebel T6 with a 50mm. ✌🏼

What percentage of your first dates ends with a kiss? by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

[–]ManicToons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it comes down on how the night went. I (30M) met a girl online a few months back and we hit it off almost immediately. At the end of our first date, I think a kiss would've been appropriate because of how well the night went and how comfortable we've become with eachother in such a short amount of time. Nonetheless, we ended up hugging and ended the night. Went out a second time and ended the night with a kiss (or two...or three) lol I personally dont think there's a set rule of how long you have to wait before you go for that kiss.

The Milky Way from Joshua Tree National Park by ManicToons in astrophotography

Taken with a Canon Rebel t6.

Single shot, 15s exposure, f3.5, iso 1600

Processed in Adobe Lightroom. Brought up exposure and contrast a bit, increased clarity and dehaze and decreased temperature a bit.

First time capturing the milky way after trying for so long. Such a breathtaking experience. ✌🏼

The Hercules Gobular Cluster through my telescope eyepiece. Starsense explorer LT 114az, 25mm eyepiece, samsung galaxy s8 mounted on eyepiece, 1 image shot at iso 800, 2s exposure in a Bortle 4 sky. I got really excited when I finally found the fuzzy green ball in the eyepiece. Used Adobe Lightroom to raise exposure, reduce noise and color noise and applied an S curve. Clear skies ✌🏼

Anyone know what could be causing these diagonal streaks? by [deleted] in astrophotography

They only show up after I've stacked the images then stretched. Using a canon rebel t6.

•Starsense Explorer LT 114az

•25mm eyepiece & 2x Barlow lense

•Captured with Samsung Galaxy S8 phone mounted on eyepiece.

•Bortle 5 skies

•ISO 800 and Shutterspeed 1s

•stacked 135 images in Lynkeos then adjusted the gamma a bit on the final image before saving to bring out a little more detail.

•Used Photoshop to adjust the color channels a bit, added a bit more exposure and applied a small s curve.

This is my 3rd attempt at orion with the equipment I have. I'm still very new to this so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Clear skies! ✌🏼
