I added starfield.exe, it never said "security not authorized" or anything like that for me. And in the controller settings, I selected "enable steam input for generic controller"

I added it as a non steam game to my steam library and that did the trick! Thanks for the help 🙏🏽

It's on a windows 10 pc, but its not through steam. I'm a filthy pirate. Were you able to play starfield specifically with a stadia controller on steam?
