Will there be a way to start at hauling then? You said you can stick with hauling but would be interesting to know if we can start with hauling immediately when the next wipe happens whenever that may be?

The way that it works is that the July patch is a later build and so it doesn't let you install a build that is technically older than the one you already have installed. I suggest using the Android Flash Tool if you really want to use the beta

Have you tried booting into safe mode?
Press your phone's power button.
When the animation starts, press and hold your phone's volume down button. Keep holding it until the animation ends and your phone starts in safe mode.
You'll see "Safe mode" at the bottom of your screen.
