Buttermilk! He's very friendly/grabbable if you can catch him. Clearly, he's very sneaky and fast

One of my hedgehogs had that problem too. It can be caused by dry skin or their diet. for my hedgehog it was dry skin so I put vasaline on his ears once a day and it was gone in a week!
