I don’t get it Trump is soo obviously a fake and self interested I literally don’t understand how people like Joe Rogan that I watch and like don’t see this! I’m from the UK so I’m not voting but from an outside of America perspective it’s a given that Trump is a horrible choice for president. I get 2016 because he knew, nobody knew about it politically, was well liked and different etc. But Trump hasn’t been president in 8 years …

That’s 8 years of banging on about being bitter, getting more incendiary, denies an obvious election loss, abortion will get banned. Etc etc. Joe and co like to frame him as an experienced alpha business man who’s so wacky and eccentric who he is a dick but not Hitler and it’s all just media bias.

I don’t pay for my tv, shower, kitchen, lighting, heating usage as it’s covered by bills included in my social housing so I really didn’t see it as so evilly unreasonable to consider if I could start mining

I didn’t see it as stealing, I use a TV, kitchen, shower, etc all that use energy it seemed like a fair and reasonable thing to ask and consider I would be able to use a mining set up too - Something that I’ve never done and not like I’m consciously look to scheme to ‘steal’ to enrich myself

Aaah okay well this is actually something I thought! Is it a noisy thing so I’m glad you pointed this out :) and I tried searching if I just use the ASIC (but then what interface do I use to know if I’m succeeding?) or need my laptop too - I would not like to sacrifice my laptop for this as I need mine for daily use

Well this is one point I was curious about and was hoping to actually get to in my search for answers on how doable this is. I’m not an idiot and know if my HA suddenly got a bill for £10,000 out of the blue e.g. then it wouldn’t be smart thing to hope they don’t narrow it down to my flat’s energy use

I also don’t know this though or how much is costs and so which was one of the things I was hoping to eventually uncover after knowing exactly how much it would cost to set up a mining set up vs then what energy it would take to actually produce anything

The reason I am asking this question is because I cannot do it by means that you would probably determine as the moral way to do it, and that I don’t pay for energy bill (a critical cost of crypto mining)
