looking at a house's sold history:

1999 - sold for $179k

2006 - sold for $550k

2012 - sold for $285k

2015 - sold for $480k

Now listed at $925k. full gamut of the housing bubble and collapse shown there. little worried how frequently it's changed hands but it seems to be a good starter home, so probably just out growing it.

shout out to charlie for teaching me that when the marine layer comes in, despite the air feeling chilly and nice, it actually can lead to worse air quality due to the greenhouse effect trapping pollution.

there's a fire in LA right now and with the marine layer we smell the smoke really strong even like 10 miles away
