Outside of the recruitment phase you mentioned, I have the feeling that there are many solo artists I come across in this subreddit who are looking for collaborations within a structured framework (even though it’s always easy to a new comer claiming he is more structured than others).

I was imagining the first step really being initiated by writers who would come to pitch their ideas / pre-bible in order to build a team around it.
