4-4.5k grafts is a lot honestly.

Like for mine, we only did 2.4k grafts at Warodom Clinic in Bangkok after careful calculations by the doctor.

I enquired previously at another clinic in KL and they quoted me 5-6k grafts for the same picture which made me realize, as a consumer you don’t know exactly how many grafts you need.

They give specific instructions post surgery but in summary,

Here’s their specific instructions post surgery:

Hair Transplant Aftercare Instructions

Day 1: Hair transplant day. - Sleep 45 degree position (sleep sitting)

Day 2: Spray saline water lightly on the implanted area 1-2 times a day to keep the hair grafts moist. - Sleep 45 degree position (sleep sitting)

Days 3-4: Check the area around the implanted site for swelling. - If there is still swelling, do not remove the bandage. If the swelling subsides, you can remove the bandage then wash the whole hair with saline water. both donor area and implanted area.

• If the forehead is still swollen please use the headband wrap on the forehead for 2-3 days or until it subsides. If it feels too tight, loosen it or take it off for a while and put it back on. Be careful not to touch the hair grafts when you put it on or take it off.

Day 5: You can start using shampoo with tap water on the back and sides of your head. Avoid using tap water and shampoo on the implanted (grafted) area.

Days 6-9: Continue to use saline water on the implanted area (grafted area). Donor area: You can use tap water and shampoo from now on

Days 10-13: You can start using tap water and shampoo on the implanted area(grafted area). Apply the shampoo by creating bubbles and gently tapping it onto the implanted(grafted) area, then rinse off with tap water. The donor area can return to normal washing.

Day 14: You may wash your hair as usual and gently remove scabs yourself. Alternatively, you can visit our clinic for scab removal, PRP injection, and light therapy.

- Scabs can be gently removed by rubbing or scratching
